I know there are a lot to choose from...but so far it looks like the guy at Video Keepsakes in Beverly Hills. Is anyone better than that? I need the very best there is. ThanksI'm a little worried about some of those boards cause so many so called shooters are not really even a real business, no license, no bond. If they mess up there goes the best day of your life up in smoke. Thats why I was seeking a personal reference if possible.

Firstly I need a good demo dvd to show people and to put a sample on website. Register business name after I get first job. So, I ask everyone I meet if they know of any weddings coming up. I advertised in local paper that I can negotiate a very reasonable fee because I am getting started. Also posted up my phone number in several churches.Approached two other wedding videographers nearby for freelance work. They are both very busy refer clients to eachother but cannot guarantee me anything. Any other ideas?Thanks. I have the gear and done the research. The competitors in town are not as great as I think I can be. Just eager to get started.

What equipment exactly.. not just camera and computer, give me what cds, programs of editing and burning you use, licenses, what type of camera would be best, what requirements does my computer have to have, etc. Is there any classes online that i can do for this? let me in on anything you know. I know how to edit, shoot, and all that, i just want more info, and detailed please. Thank you

Would it matter if they worked out of their home, or would you prefer someone who has a physical place of business? I have been working out of a home office and sales a slow. I am curious if people respect someone who has an actual store office location. Thanks

What happens if a wedding videographer doesn't show up at the wedding he has to videotape?

I'm just getting started in the wedding videography business and am wondering what an appropriate price would be to charge for my services. I currently charge $700 for a FULL DAY from 8am to Midnight, I think It's really affordable, but what do you think?
