Urgent help with wedding table decorations PLEEEEEEEEZ!!!!!?
For my wedding i am having 6 large round tables in the evening for the buffet. There will be a balloon arrangement in the middle but cannot think of other things to decorate them with. We want something classy but fun and unusual. We dont want candles, party poppers, crockery, cutlery, streamers or napkins. Really sorry to be so fussy. Has anyone had, seen or heard of anything different. The best answer will be used and 10 pts given.Thanks in advance.Tables are where guests are sitting. Any comments on wedding table decorations/favours?
For our wedding, we're thinking about making 3D chocolate roses, 1 per guest. I am then going to arrange them in a small bucket or vase among real fake roses and ribbons etc and place them on the tables as wedding favours, but doubling as table decorations. What are your thoughts? We're having a purple theme so I would have purple roses and I'd wrap the chocolate ones individually in clear cellophane so they don't get dirty or come in contact with the other flowers.Yes, I thought of the cupcake idea too, but I'm not a fan of cupcakes. We're having a tradional wedding and to me, cupcakes aren't original. We've chosen roses because they're one of my favourite flowers. I would do a mixture of white milk dark chocolate roses. The reason I thought of adding real fake flowers would be so that the tables don't look " destroyed" once the favours have been eaten. I guess though, with other decorations, candles etc it will be ok.By wrapping, I don't actually mean wrapping the rose, just a bit of cello around the stem so the chocolate doesn't get sticky or melt onto other flowers etc.Thanks for your input " whatever" . I agree. I'm going to have candles, balloons, scattered rose petals etc on the tables too so I don't think it will look too bad. I might set up a mock table before hand so have an idea what it will look like but I think it's a great idea. Saves on money but it's also a personal touch too. I intend to make all the roses myself, I'm a creative person and I also love cooking training to be a chef so I think it's very personal and suitable for us as a couple, which is what a wedding should be about.

We are going to have over 500 people at my sister's wedding and there are tables of 10.For each table we want the centrepiece decorations but we want to make them ourselves.Are there any ideas, websites etc. to offer help and affordable ways to make them?Care to share whats so funny?Oh um...theme? We lack that lol. This is a south asian wedding so we dont really do themes.And the table cloth is off white and the napkins are to match my sister's wedding dress they are burgundy maroon.

Any help or ideas would be appreciated, i've looked on google etc just wondering if any one else has any other ideas. Our colour theme is royal blue and silver, we're thinking of going with modern bubble bowl floral center pieces with mirror plates, then i was thinking of silver scatter crystals or blue petal confetti or something...i like the idea of candles but some places are funny with open candles etc. Any other ideas to tie in with theme??Thanks
Wedding table decoration idea to supplement green apples in silver bowls?
I'm looking for a table decoration idea for our 9 6 08 wedding. We are on a pretty tight budget so we're trying to avoid overpriced flower ensembles. My fiance has actually been quite helpful in planning and mentioned the idea of using green apples in a silver bowl, an idea he got from a fancy restaurant he used to work at in D.C. Anyways, our color are sage green and eggplant so i'd like to somehow supplement the green apple silver bowl idea w some sort of purple. Maybe candles? Grape vines? I'm not creative so any and all ideas would be appreciated. Thanks
