I'm looking for dark purple and clear beads that look like giant diamonds and fake pearl beads at a reasonable price.They are going to be for my center pieces, which are vases filled with them, water and a floating candle I'd say I need about 3 pounds of each and I don't want to pay more than 100 dollars for the whole lot.Also, does anyone know of any fabric stores online that have tulle in dark purple eggplant and ivory at a reasonable price? All the fabric stores around me want about 6 dollars a yard which I find ludacris.

My brother is getting married in June. His fiance and her mother have asked me to help with the wedding reception. particularly the decorations She is wanting a summer ish themed wedding. She knows she wants bird of paradise for her flower. She also wants the colors found in that flower to be her wedding colors. yellow, orange, light blue ish purple Sorry for all the detail. My question is does anyone have any CREATIVE ideas for things like centerpieces at the guest tables and head table decorations. Also she wants to have a unique place for the guests to set their gifts. not necessarily a table eg. a winter wedding guests could place their gifts under a christmas tree.Thanks in advance for your ideas. Hi My friend is doing a wedding reception for his sister and her husband. He asked me for help about decorating the place. I gave him a few ideas but we still would like more ideas though.So far, we decided on food, music, and making our own centerpieces for the tables round . But the hall is dark with no windows it's in a church and we want to decorate it like lighting, tulle, balloons, and maybe flowers but prob not b c of budget . We were wondering if anyone of u guys have some ideas abt how to decorate the room though since the color of wall is just this tri valley.k12.il.us sjones plywood.jpgWe can't go beyond the limit of like $1000 and would like to cut down expenses whenever we can. And plz keep in mind, that we are the only ones doing the decoration not some wedding planners, etc.So guys, do you have any ideas about how to decorate this? So I am getting married very soon. I decided to take an alternative route and just get married at city hall but were still having a nice sized reception wouldnt say big though. I just about have everything covered. I found a reasonably priced location. My mother in law is cooking the food. I will be buying the alcohol and my fiancee has good friend who dj's now my question is this, since im not doing the wedding thing. What should do for centerpieces and decorations at the venue? I havent decided on a color quite yet but I have some thoughts and I just need some overall opinions on what I should do and I dont want to spend crazy on decorations, but I dont want to have cheesy looking reception either. Could somebody please help???
Disney Princess, Wedding reception Decorations - Magical and Enchanting ideas?
Asside from filling the reception room with balloons and flowers, what other kinds of decorations would be wedding approprate princess themed? As of right now, I want the center pieces for the tables to consist of ballooons 8 people per table, 8 baloons and holding down the balloons will be an assortment of Cinderella's glass slipper, Magic wands, Princess crowns.... What else can I do to make the room look magical and enchanting?
Wedding reception decoration on a budget.?
my aunts wedding is on less than a month. im the maid of honor and so far ive been put in charge of doing the brides hair, doing one of the brides maids hair, doing my own hair, doing the brides mother's hair, decorating a poster about the brides dad becasue he died a while back , and decorating the reception hall. ive figured out what im going to do for the tables. im going to do white floating candles in glass bowls with fake green leaves around the bottoms of the bowls as centerpieces for all of the tables except the bride and grooms. with white table cloths on all of them except theirs, too. i might put green under theirs but im not sure. well, i dont have a lot of money to do the decorations with, and im running out of ideas. the place we rented is really bland and needs a lot of work done to it. what are some really CHEAP ways i can decorate the reception hall? other than just the tables?extra info the wedding colors are sage green, white, and silver. and her dress is made to look kind of antique ish. any help is appreciated.i know. but the other bridesmaids arent really that helpful. lol.one of the bridesmaids daughters is going to help with the decorations.and she is paying for it, but she hasnt given me an exact amount yet. just that everything needs to be cheap.im not PAYING for the stuff. she is.but she chose me to do her hair because im good at it, lol. and im cheaper. she's stressed enough as it is. everyone's been trying to help her out alot. and we're like best friends. the other bridemaid asked me to do her hair to, but the style she wants only takes a few minutes to do, and all im doing to mine is braiding it. its really not much to ask, considering all the other stuff we've been doing as a team. i just need help with how i should decorate.. thx for all the help so far.
