Wedding Reception Decorating Dillema?
Hello everyone I am getting married in July of 2011 and I was looking for some decorating advice for my reception. My fiance and I do not have a lot of money at all so to cut costs we decided to have our wedding in a local park. They have a gorgeous English Garden, so the ceremony will barely need any decoration at all. We are having the reception in one of the picnic pavillions at the park, like I said, to cut costs. My only dillema is that I have no idea how to decorate a picnic pavillion for a wedding reception, not to mention cener pieces and seating arrangments. While it is outside, and yes, in a picnic paviliion, I would still like a classy wedding reception feel for us and our guests. Are there any suggestions that you have? Our colors are hot pink and white and we are thinking about possibly incorporating a cream color for a nice accent The tables and chairs will be the picnic tables. Any suggestions would be much appreciated Thank you We come from a very conservative family so alcohol will not be involved in the reception.
Wedding reception decorating ideas?
ok so me and my fiance have looked at a lot of plaves to have our wedding, and we found a VFW hall that we love. it has plenty of space, a great landscape and has a lot of hotels close by for our out of town guests. the only problem is its 100 % plain. We have to do our own decorations. We have tables and chairs and linens and centerpieces. But what can we do with the ceilings and walls and i just want the room to have a romantic warm feel to it. Our wedding is Oct of this year. And our colors are apple and cream. Any help is greatly appreciated. thanks

My mom is getting re married, and she needs ideas on how she can decorate the reception hall. Her colors are black, silver, and white. What are good decorating ideas? I think she should do an old vintage Hollywood theme, and what are some ideas for that?
Inexpensive Wedding Reception Decorating?
Our wedding is in the Spring of 09 and we have a seriously tight budget $2500 . We have found a reception venue that we can afford, but it doesn't look very nice. It has a low celing, white linoleum floors, white walls and no windows Our wedding colours are gold, chocolate brown and peacock blue. I was thinking about putting peacock feathers into vases as centrepieces, but I'm stuck as to what else I can do to make the place look nicer
