Ideas for romantic wedding reception decor?
I'm stuck trying to figure out some centerpiece ideas. I'm getting married the day before Valentine's Day & am wanting it to be very romantic to tie in with that. My colors are red and white. I don't want any flowers for the centerpieces. I can use candles, but they have to be smokeless not the battery operated ones i don't really care for those . On the tables, I'll have a disposable camera, a candy dish with cinnamon red hearts, but no ideas for a centerpiece.Also, I'd like to incorporate chocolate covered strawberries somehow. I'm having a sit down dinner so there won't be any food drink stations to put any. Also, I don't want a fondue fountain as I've read those can be messy.Any ideas & suggestions are greatly appreciated Thanks

Inexpensive wedding reception decor?
The wedding color is PINK. yes, it will be a princess pink wedding. How can we get that " Disney princess" " Fairytale" whimsical feeling...without spending too much?I love sparkles and glitter and lights. That kinda stuff. I'm a more " modern" princess though lol yes, now i'm refering to myself as a princess ...I dont like the antique look... What are a few ways to dress up the tables and reception place we haven't even picked yet that are very very low cost but that'll give it a little extra sparkle?
What can I use to float on water in a bowl for wedding reception decor??
I need and idea of what I could use to float in water for my centerpieces at my wedding reception. I thought of the candles and flowers but I wanted to know if anyone knew of anything else.
HELP!....Black and Pink ideas for my wedding reception decor.?
We are having a May wedding with Pink and Black as the main color scheme. My bridesmaids will be in shorter black dresses and they will each have a different color pink rose bouquet from fuschia to baby pink just to add a little more color. My reception is being held in an old stage theatre with black walls and high ceilings. I need help knowing what to have as centerpieces, how much pink and white to incorporate, what to do for lighting I love candles , and this all has to be done on a relatively strict budget. Links with pictures would be fantastic Thanks I understand that the reception hall is primarily black and my bridesmaids are wearing black, that why Im so confused about what to do for table coverings and centerpieces. I was thinking Id have white tableclothes with different colored pink runners. We are having large tables on the primary floor and the back of the venue has four rows of stage seating that has been gutted and redone and tables have been put up there for additional seating. Its a beautiful hall, and I just want to make it as elegant and classy as I can.
What do you think of a single Calla Lilly in a tall vase for wedding reception decor?
I am getting married Aug 30 this year and am having fall colors tangerine, yellow, sage, and chocolate as my bridesmaids dresses and matching vests bowties for groomsmen. My bridesmaid's bouquets are going to be orange and yellow lillies, gerber daisies, and roses. My bridal bouquet is cascading with orange and yellow orchids, lillies, roses, and gerber daisies. I am having long rectangular 4X8 tables and thinking about putting two large calla lillies per table and about 5 votive candles on each table spread out. I want it really simple, but still pretty. What do you think about one orange, long stem calla lilly per vase, two per table with candles spread out on tables??? Is that too simple?just an additional note I would put the Calla Lilly in a simple 8" Clear glass Sabrina Bud Vase, which is not too tall, and clip the ends of the lilly so it only sticks out of the vase about 4 5" .

Does this sound good for wedding reception decor?
Do you think this decor would look ok? Traditional white gown light buttery canary yellow BM dresses pale yellow, white, and pale pink roses peonies for bouquets & centerpieces chocolate brown tablecloth overlays & pale yellow cloth napkins. This is for an early evening outdoor ceremony followed by the reception inside.Also, I will have white linen underneath the overlay plus white chair covers with a light yellow gold bow. I wasn't sure if I should have the brown in there or just have it as all white linens.
Is there a website where i can purchase wedding reception decor and party favors etc. at discount prices?

Can anybody advise me on decor for our reception,we have a room in an old barn,all the tables etc are dark wood,it has beams etc so dont want to ruin that look with all kinds of banners etc.my dress is ivory and pale gold,also i want to get a bit of pink in there.can anyone suggest what type of decorations to get Not over the top just something simple.were not having table centre pieces,or flowers in the room.thanks xPerfect chef that is exactly what i would like,brilliant and thankyou x
What color uplighting will compliment my wedding reception / decor?
I am considering doing some DIY up lighting for my up coming reception. My colors are Black, Ivory and very minimal lime green. What up lighting will look good in a room with mainly black linens, Ivory calla lilies and lime green accents. I thing green up lighting will be too harsh. so what color will compliment this while still keeping the mood as if it were a romantic candlelight dinner?
Help! Wedding reception decor?
I'm getting married on October 18th. I'm so stressed out that I end up in tears almost daily. There are so many things that are not finished. I haven't picked out a cake and I don't know what to do about reception decor or even ceremony decorations. My parents are paying, but I really don't want to go overboard price wise, even though they say to just get what I want. I know that they can't just afford anything, but I do want it to look nice.Here's what I'm working with My colors are black white and red. For the ceremony, I'm doing red dresses for the girls, red ties and flowers for the guys, mostly white flowers for the girls and red flowers for me. The reception will be kind of the opposite, with black and white everywhere and red accents.I've looked at so many pictures of cakes and centerpieces..and nothing seems right. I know that decoration isn't what a wedding is all about, but...I was always told that my parents wouldn't be able to give me a " dream" wedding, and now that has changed. I want it to be beautiful. This will be the first event that is about me and my husband of course , including birthdays. Long story. I just want it to be gorgeous. I want to find decorations that are " me." I want to love my cake. Please help Pictures would be greatly helpful.

For my wedding reception i'm going to have red napkins with a corsage of red and orange dalilas around them. Here's my question would it be cheaper to order the corsages or make them and if so how would you make those?

I have no idea where to even begin decorating the reception hall. I'm wondering if anyone has pictures of their reception? I would love to see what others have done I'm also open to suggestions. Bridesmaids Groomsmen are wearing an apple green color. Flowers and some accents are light pink, peach, and ivory. Are ice sculptures too overdone? What are your ideas on balloon decor?
