Question: Inexspensive wedding photographer for small wedding?

My fiance and I are having a small wedding via the clerk- recorder's office in Oakland Ca. The small ceremony will only have 25 guests and I am sure that it will be a short ceremony, but I still wanted a few pictures. Anyone know specifically what photographers I can contact in the Bay Area who will do this for cheap around $200- ish?

You should ask around to your guest see if any of them would be intrested in doing the pictures in lue of a wedding present and just ask them to burn pics on CD and you can get prints your self

Find a photography student at the local college. Dont ask a friend or relative, bc then they wont get to fully enjoy the ceremony themselves. Most photography students need photos for their portfolio..and most need wedding photos

Well no photographer will do it for that price I can tell you straight away. Look into student photographers, some are really good, they will do it for that price. No working photographer will do a wedding for less than $500+

I have a special rate for smaller weddings like that. It is $2,500. That is roughly 1/ 3 of my normal wedding rate. I know several photography students at the local community college that will shoot a wedding for $1,000, but I do not know any photographer that would do it for $200. I think your best bet would be to ask one of your guests to take some photos and send it to you.
