Wedding Photographer?
I have a my Wedding Photography, I signed a contract, gave a deposit. But Im having seconds thoughts about him, and my engagement photos, didn't come out as well I would have liked. Would I be able to back out of my contract and get my deposit back, so I can look else where. My wedding is also a year away. Help

I've been searching everywhere and I think I've contacted every photographer in our area. I need six hours of coverage with ONLY a dvd of all images, no prints, no album, etc. for around $1000. Anybody know someone who is actually good with lighting, posing, and color correction?
Wedding Photographer dilemma?
I am getting married next summer, and me and my fiance are paying for it. Last night he suggested that we ask one of his friends and ex room mate, who is apparently a good photographer to take pictures at our wedding. I was going to book a professional photographer, but it costs a little more then I wanted to pay. I think that she would love to take the pictures and would be honoured but I also want her to have fun and celebrate with us at the same time. not sure what to do. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Inexspensive wedding photographer for small wedding?
My fiance and I are having a small wedding via the clerk recorder's office in Oakland Ca. The small ceremony will only have 25 guests and I am sure that it will be a short ceremony, but I still wanted a few pictures. Anyone know specifically what photographers I can contact in the Bay Area who will do this for cheap around $200 ish?
Wedding Photographer Cost?
Hi, I am looking to have a professional photographer to be at my wedding taking unlimited digital pictures because I want to bring the pics to another image place to develop. The whole event is about 10 hours, what is a reasonable price for something like that in the Northeast area. So far the lowest I got is around $1500 Again, I only need the labor part, not any package or album combo deals. Thanks.
Why won't my wedding photographer give us the RAW images?
We had our wedding in August. I'm a professional graphic designer so I know how to work with images to create beautiful photo books, or to ensure blown up to a 12 x 18 size, there are no blemish issues, etc. and the images aren't grainy. My photographer sent me high res .jpg files that are grainy at a 14x9 size. The best we can do is print them at a 6 x 4 size which is ridiculous Is it legal after spending a lot of money for the photographer to withhold the RAW files? I can't create spreads in my photo book and I can't print at a larger size and have them framed. It's a nightmare. It looks like everything was snapped using an ISO 1600 setting causing massive grain, which can be rectified if I have the RAW file.I should have also pointed out that the contract states " The digital negatives are the property of CLIENT for personal use and for the purposes of the reproduction and giving of photographs to friends and relatives" . The photographer is in the wrong withholding. This is not an editorial shoot for a magazine, a rock concert or some sort of celebrity sighting..we're talking about a personal wedding that consists of images that only benefit the bride and groom. The photographer can post their images online as a portfolio piece but let's get realistic, if I was a hack and I tampered with the image I have on my end gave myself distorted large red lips and posted it on FB, who cares? It's not as though it's tampering with a Vogue spread.

Can I sue my wedding photographer that left the country?
how can I sue my wedding photographer that has physically left the country but it still incorporated in USA?I got married in July 2011 and I've been continuously sending my photographer emails and leaving voice mails ever since August regarding my pictures & DVDs. I'm slightly confused. I have to call email 2 3 times in a week to finally get a respond. Last time I heard from him 2 months ago he said he left the country because his mother passed away. I understand he's grieving because of such a big loss but its frustrating on my part as well. I'm really confused because we paid him about $4500 for our wedding pictures, albums, and videos and out of no where, when I called him few months ago, he tells me he left the country and had to shut down his company. That scared me and until this very moment I have been extremely stressed out and don't know what to do....He eventually responds back with the same answer of how it'll be ready next month or so and he doesn't know exactly when. I don't know how long the wait is " normally" for people to receive their wedding pictures albums videos but I think I'm panicking more because he shut down his company and left for personal reasons. I don't know what to do, any advice for be wonderful. I paid him everything up front before the wedding and all our contracts and communication is done through email text messaging. Oh he did send me a CD with all of our pictures a month after the wedding but thats about it. Nothing else. I'm not saying he never responds, he just always lags and has been telling me the same thing since August...should I wait or should I do something if I can do anything. Is there anyway for me to find out if his company is still incorporated?
My wedding photographer did not get any pictures of the groom and his parents! What should we do?
The pictures we did get are amazing, but there are several that just plain didn't happen the groom and his parents, the groom and all of his siblings, guests seated at their tables at the reception, close ups of the centerpieces, me the bride & the groom & our four parents together. I feel like these should have been givens and am a little bummed that we'll never have these shots. What should we do???
