Should the wedding party sit together?
SO im having a head table, at that table I only want me and the groom , the best man and my maid and matron of honor Also one grooms men. the best man is dating the maid of honor and the grooms men is married to the matron of honor. I have 2brides maid and he has 2 more grooms men I don't want them sitting With us tho. I was going ot have them sit at a table together with there spouse but my 2 braids maids are single and WILL NOT be bringing a date. they do not no the other people in the wedding party but they do no the other guests should I not have a table for the rest of the wedding prarty should I just Split them up? I do not want to make anyone feel weird but I would like them to hae there own special table but now im not sure.wow no one asked you people about the head table what i asked was aboutthe other table. tbest man is a best man for a reason same goes for maid matron n the reason the groomsmen is there is cuz his wife is. no one said there not good enough sp if you have nothing nice to say then dont comment. everyone thing who i have at the head table is a good idea now like i said should i have the rest at there own table or split them up?the reason I do not want them at the head table it because there would be to many people and they have spouses and I do not want to split them from there spouseI am also sitting all parents and grand parents at there own table

my best friend is my maid of honor then i have my sister who i am close to then i have 6 bridesmaids. i want to come up with a title for my sister to make her feel special. i dont want her to just be a bridesmaid but i dont want to make her another maid of honor and take away from my best friend... any ideas???my sister is 22 and she already knows she is not the MOH we have talked about it and the reason i choose my best friend over her is because i have 3 sisters and they are all in the wedding and my youngest is a jr. bridesmaid. the sister i am talking about well her and i are very close, but i was not going to choose one of my sisters over the other
Should the bride pay for her wedding party to go to a bridal expo? Or do the bridesmaids pay for themselves?
I am going to ask some of the girls in my wedding party if they'd like or want to go to a bridal expo with me next month no obligation or pressure . What is the etiquette on paying for that? Should I offer to pay for them or is that a situation where they would pay if they would like to go??
How do you back out of a wedding party?
My best friend is getting married in the middle of June and I agreed to be in the bridal party. She had first offered me the position of Maid of Honor but I declined because I live 1000 miles away. Literally. I accepted bridesmaid, however. This morning I got a job offer overseas that would be the opportunity of a lifetime....but the timing is awful I would have to miss the wedding. Part of me thinks it would be incredibly disappointing if I DIDN'T take the position. I will probably never have an opportunity like this again in my life. But, knowing her, this will do some serious damage to our already somewhat unstable relationship. She's the sort of woman who is emotionally fragile. How do you tactfully go about this?
Is it an enjoyable event when your date is the Best Man and you aren't in the wedding party?
About two days ago my boyfriend of two years told me that he is going to be the best man at his best friends wedding. I'm invited as I sort of know his best friend I've only met him a few times since his college is so far away . However, of course I'm not in the wedding party so I was just curious on what people think of going to weddings when you honestly aren't going to be by your date the majority of the time and you know absolutely no one there except the best man and groom Let me mention that the wedding is two states away from mine and over 7 hours of driving just to get there. I'm assuming that the Best Man rides in the limo with the bride and groom, will be at the ceremony with them obviously , will be eating with them, pictures with them, etc etc. I'm not really sure how much I'm going to enjoy this wedding if my boyfriend is going to be absent the entire time.Personally I wouldn't mind so much if the wedding were like an hour away, but the 7 hours is sort of daunting to me if I'm not really going to be by him much. Also, there is no guarantee that I will be sitting by anyone near my age and knowing my luck I'll get stuck with the brides extended family.I've already told my boyfriend I'm not hot on going since dinner will be decidedly awkward, but he seemed to think he would be able to sit by me. It was at that point that I had to tell him that the Best Man almost always sits at the 'head table' and not with their dates. He's considered asking the groom if he can sit by me instead for dinner, but I highly doubt that is going to go over well Has anyone had any experience with this? How was the outcome? Is it worth it for me to drive that far?
1920's-ish song for wedding party to enter reception?
We are getting married this summer. The reception is outdoors and there is a bit of a 1920's theme. It's not going to be everything, but a hint of the 20's. So, a lot of the music is going to be old jazz. Any ideas for a song that can be played while the wedding party enters the reception? 1920s 1950's? Something upbeat would be nice. Thanks
Uneven wedding party, what should I do?
I have a matron of honor,2 bridesmaids and a jr bridesmaidhe has a best man 3grooms men and a jr grooms menI would like the best man and the matron of honor to walk together and I would also like the 2 Jr's to walk together but now it leaves 2 bridesmaids and three groomsmenfirfly i never said i wanted him to make one of them step done and i never said there was a problem with it being uneven . what i was asking was how sould i have them walk down im prob going ot have 2 guys walk with one girl. also no ther is no one alse i want to ask the point of haveing eopl up there with you is to have close friends and family saporting you it would just be rude for me to ask another girl just because it is uneven

Ok I want to have a party exactly 1 year after we got married because I eloped last year in Florida and never had a family get together afterwards. My friend and her fiancee are hosting a get together for friends and family before the official wedding. It will be in the evening.I don't know what to wear for these things. I have two outfits in mind.1. White dating slip dress with a black sequin collar. With either black pumps or tall black sandals with a pink shiny strap on top . I really want to wear the second pair.OR2. A white long sleeved top with a black pencil skirt. Black pumps and pearls. Hair would be put up in a pony tail.I like the first outfit, but I think that it is too dressy. The second one seems like I just got out if the office. I am getting married in September, IN VEGAS I am the bride.My mother and father are going however his mother and father don't like traveling so they won't be attending the actual wedding but watching or dog instead.My best friend and his are also coming.My sister is trying to find a teaching job so depending on if she has one or not will determine if she comes or not.They are ALL very much wanting to go, money is an issue here. His parents are paying half of the wedding and half of the honeymoon stay in Las Vegas, as are mine.So with that being said i need some ideas on what to get my maybe 2 bridesmaids, Mother of the bride, Father of the bride, Best man, as well as his parents.My mother doesn't wear a lot of jewelry aside from her wedding ring. I am doing a destination wedding with around 7 to 8 couples. I was considering making the first 2 days of the trip like a battle of the sexes type competition with the winner getting X amount of money to go out and spend on bachelor bachlorette party. But I need games or activities for each team to get points. Only idea I got is Beerpong lol I NEED HELP WITH IDEAS
