So I didn't here about this until recently which upsets me because I am a TREMENDOUS Disney fan. Even worked there for a summer . Anyway. Apparently you send Minnie and Mickey Mouse a wedding invitation and they'll send an autographed picture back. Trouble is my wedding was last June. Would it be wrong to send one now? Would it still work?Oops Used the wrong " here" . I meant " hear" . Not that that really matters...
How to address wedding invitations for an unmarried couple living together?
My fiancee has a few older relatives who live with a boyfriend girlfriend but are not married. They are both invited, but I don't know how to address the envelope since I can't do Mr. and Mrs. Smith. I was thinking Mr. John Smith Ms. Jane Doe Address etc.If I were to do it that way, would I address the man first, even though the woman is the one who is related?Thanks but I'm still using Mr. and Mrs. for the married couples. I've never heard of anyone being offended by being called Mrs. Last Name. That's pretty much the norm.Oh I forgot to mention that I don't have inner envelopes, it's just the outside and the return envelope that I'm working with.
How should this wedding invitation be worded?
The mother of the bride AND mother of the groom should be on this invitation... fathers are out of the picture. We would like to use first names only because last names are changing soon... " Lisa and Lorraine would like to invite you to the wedding of their son and daughter" . Does this sounds like A Lisa and Lorraine are in a relationship and or B the son and daughter are brother and sister from Lorraine and Lisa? OH This is so strange but I don't want it to sound funny at all. Any ideas??

I am filling out a form right now to submit for my invitation order. I do not plan to have a wedding registry and I don't want to put the word " gift optional" on the invitation either.Basically I did not want to put anything on the invitation at all. I believe if people want to bring something , they can call and ask or just bring what they feel. I do not want anyone to feel guilty or pressured into bringing a gift or feel bad if they cant when they see a gift registry on the invitation.However my fiancee and family thinks i should still put something to avoid confusion and repeat of gifts. How do i address wedding invitations?
I am just about to send out my wedding invitations but I am not sure how to address them properly. What should I write on the envelope, invitation and rsvp? I was thinking for the invitations to write the guests first names as I don't want any confusion as to who is invited.

How to word a wedding invitation?
My best friend needs help on wording of her wedding invitations. She is having a private ceremony with family only. After the ceremony the reception will be in the same location backyard and have about 75 friends families. It will be an informal ceremony, almost like a BBQ party, but she wants everyone to dress up formal. Not black tie, but not shorts and flip flops. They will still cut a cake and possibly have a father daughter dance, but no bouquet throwing, etc. So, how do you word that its not for the ceremony and like an elegant backyard garden reception?
