What are some awesome theme wedding ideas?
Me and my fiance want to have a theme wedding and are trying to figure out what would be most fun. We're not rich so we can't go hire any cool entertainers or anything, but we don't want things that are common like beach or periods in history such as Victorian, 20s gangsters, or 1960's. So far movie based weddings have not seemed appealing either. It would be a summer wedding.We do not want a traditional wedding of any sort. And we just want to explore all of our options, we know what theme we will go with if we don't find anything we like better.
Band costs/non traditional wedding idea?
Just got engaged and still in the very early phases of brainstorming ideas...I thought it would be kinda fun to get a local band or two to play at our reception rather than just get a dj or iPod hookup like everyone else seems to be doing. There are a few really cool local bands that we like one that we are friends with and some others that are friends of friends. I realize hat they wouldn't want to play for free but maybe we'd get a lil bit of a friend discount or something. Maybe feed them free drinks idk. Anyone have a ballpark guesstimate as to how much they might charge??Also, we want to have a very no traditional wedding. Planning on doing a courthouse ceremony with just family and very close friends there is a limit of 25 or 50 people depending on which room we use and then having a reception with food and music for everyone afterward. My fianc came up with the idea of having a local pizza place do the catering. It's good ie somewhat expensive fancier and it also happens to be the restaurant that we had our first date at What do you think of that idea? Also the bands are a little on the alternative side. I know all our friends would like the music but I'm not sure about older relatives. Could we make that work?Thanks for any input one of the bands is a little more psychedelic trippy drony i.e. not very danceable, once is very synth techno somewhat to very dancey depending on the song, the other is very 80's depeche mode and the most danceable as well as being the most likely to please our older relatives. we are friends with the psychedelic one and could probably get them to play for free or very cheap as our wedding present. the other bands are friends of friends but also not very well known popular so they might not charge too much... i would love to have all of them play but that might be a bit excessive. there are a few other bands we are considering but those are our top picks.
Whimsical wedding ideas?

Is this a stupid wedding idea?
I think every little girl wanted to be Barbie at one point when they were little, but I'm going to be 26 years old. I want a hot pink wedding, with my white dress to have a little bit of hot pink on it too. Is that too Barbie like? And would my guests feel like they were more a a sweet sixteen than a wedding?

Cheap wedding ideas needed please help?
Im 19 years old soon to be 20 and my boyfriend is 20 going on 21 we are planning on getting married within the next two years so i need cheap wedding ideas. He has a job and we both don't go to school we did graduate high school and tried college but its not for us just yet. Anyways we have known each other since 2nd grade and have been dating since junior year in high school we have been together for 3 and a half years own anniversary is December 23rd. We are committed and ready to get married. The reason we need cheap wedding ideas is because i cant find a job to save my life cause of the economy but he has one and is making good money. I am some what creative and my family is good with cheap stuff but no one in my family knows how to making any type of clothing so i am going to have to buy my own dress so besides that what are some really cheap ideas. Please help and no saying you guys aren't ready or bla bla bla. We both love each other very much and are ready to spend the rest of our lives together as is hes been with me through my ups and downs and we've lived with each other for a year and a half now so we know we can live with each other
Superman themed wedding ideas?
My boyfriend and I have chosen the date of May 4, 2013 nothing to do with superman but he wants to be able to say May the Fourth be with you Anyways, trying to get some ideas to make this a superman themed wedding but not too childish.. I don't want it to look like a child's birthday party but he and I both like Superman and not quite sure what to do. Country wedding ideas- wedding?
Okay so i am helping my friend plan her wedding and we really wants an outdoor country wedding. I am having trouble finding dress colors. She really wants all the bridemaids to wear cowboy boots also. Fun Small Wedding Ideas? (20-25 people)?
I'm only inviting about 25 people to our wedding. I expect at least 20 to come.It will be fairly small. The majority of guests will be people over 40 or under 12. I don't think I'll have any dancing or anything like that for this reason. No point in having a DJ band or dancefloor for the two or three people that may end up dancing. I myself do not like dancing around people . I will have our personal wedding soundtrack playing in the background for ambiance plain white t's " rhythm of love" , jason mraz " lucky" etc But I don't know what to do for entertainment.Anything fun I can do with 20 guests?So far the focus of the day is the ceremony and the food.
