Where can I find old fashioned wedding gowns in Philadelphia?
I've started looking for my wedding gown and realized that most dresses out there today look the same. I like something a little more old fashioned. Is there a shop in or around Philadelphia that sells a bunch of different styles? I'm also on a budget so don't want to spend a lot. I've been to David's Bridal and wasn't really impressed with their selection.

Found a dress and love it however can't afford it. The cheapest I've found it is $470. Tried looking everywhere online for it. So looks like ill have to settle for something cheaper. What im really in love with is the fit and cut of the dress. When is the time to look for your wedding gown?
I am getting married 1 19 2013, and I was wondering what was the best time I should go looking for a gown? I heard it can take up to a few months to get it in after alterations, so any ideas?
Honestly, is it better to buy, rent, or make a wedding gown?
I'm trying to plan a wedding of my own and keep getting torn between the ideas of how to obtain my wedding gown. So, is it better to rent the gown, buy the gown, or buy the material & pattern to make my own gown? I think all three are good ideas but the idea of having my gown hand sewn it would be by my mother for those who want to know is the one that appeals to me the strongest. Of course, this depends on her. Suggestions please If you suggest for me to buy then where should I buy it? Thanks
How much growth to allow for maternity wedding gown?
I'm 22 weeks pregnant and will be getting married at 32 weeks of pregnancy. I have to order my dress now and I've got no idea what size I'm likely to be. I'm usually a US size 18 20, and my waist measurement is currently 43" . I've been ill and eating sensibly so the only gain has been from baby. It's an empire line gown that will fall from under the bust, and is made from chiffon. How much growth, roughly, should I allow for in the next 10 weeks?odimwitdwon's feeling a lot of passive aggression towards women because his trim mommy trimmed his winkie. God bless America Thanks cjsmummy. I'm tall and I work a physical job in the trades, as well as doing yoga and swimming, so I have a fair amount of muscle mass. I am carrying too much weight, but it isn't to the point of being especially unhealthy except hard on my joints. I eat fruit, vegetables, bread and cheese not fast foods and junk It's amazing how some people will go out of their way to be ar$eholes. I've lost 5kg over my original weight during the pregnancy due to hyperemesis. I'm expecting growth in girth, rather than weight gain. Someone else estimated an inch a week during the second trimester I'll probably take a guess based on that, estimate it a little larger and allow the dress to fall over the bump. Thanks for your help
