What to write on wedding favor? (tree saplings)?
I've got writers block and I need something awesome to write on our wedding favors. We are giving out tree seedlings in burlap sacks with notes on them. I'm thinking something like.... our gift to you, may these tree seedlings grow strong like our love? or something super cheesy and heartfelt lol. anyways, I cant find the perfect little saying so maybe someone more creative than me can help me out. What is unique wedding favor for a wedding that is taking place on a boat?
I am getting married in June and I was trying to come up with a unique wedding favor that ties in with the wedding being on a boat I really don't want to do candy because i feel like it had been totally over done. However if the idea is unique enough I will definetly take candy into consideration. Any ideas would be helpful.

In lieu of wedding favors for our guests, we are donating money...?
We have made a donation to the brain cancer research and bought 250 of those gray rubber bracelets for the guests. My fianc es brother passed away from brain cancer...how should we tell the guests? Should we have a poster board saying the money has been donated in lieu of wedding favors and have a picture of his brother next to it, or should we just put a card with the bracelets on every table?
Is my autumn wedding favor idea stupid/cheesy?
Quick poll Is my idea stupid or cute and original? My fiance and I met in October and we will be getting married in October too. Out first date was to go to an apple orchard to go pumpkin picking since it was almost Halloween. My idea is to have a table of large gourds little pumpkins for each guest to pick their own. Alternately, I could put them on their tables. We could also put out black and color Sharpies for them to decorate their pumpkin. Is this a stupid corny idea? Would people actually have fun doing this while waiting for their dinner, or will people think it is weird or for the kids only? I would also tie a ribbon around the stems with a little note that says something like " Charlie and Christine met 4 years ago today to pick pumpkins. Thank you for sharing our special day today" to explain why I am giving them a pumpkin. So.. good or stupid? If you think it is stupid don't be afraid to say so, just be polite about it. Thanks for your help. Also, if you have other ideas for an autumn wedding favors or centerpieces please feel free to share.
