How much should I tip the wedding coordinator? The usual 15-20% doesn't seem to apply here...?
The venue I used provides a wedding coordinator. She goes over the details to make sure everything is set and ready. She sets out the center pieces and assists with decorating. She signals and paces everybody during the ceremony. She attends to the bride and groom during the reception getting drinks, food, whatever else they may need . She communicates with each of the vendors to coordinate the timing of the reception activities e.g., cake cutting, first dance, etc. . The usual 20 % tipping rule seems way excessive since it would be off the whole cost of the entire wedding because we did everything through this venue. Yet, she was good and I think she deserves a 'thank you' and a tip. How much is reasonable?

How much should i pay my day of wedding coordinator?
I had a close family friend help out on my day of wedding making sure that everything was set up and ready to go at my reception. I sat down with her about 2.5 wks before my wedding so 90 % of everything had been completed. She was just to oversee vendors and make sure everything was good. Now apparently she told my husband we did not have to pay her i think she was just being nice and he thinks we should only give her $50 gift card. I think that is an insult. I want to give her $125 but still think that is low. However, she was still somewhat of a guest at the wedding...participating in dinner and dancing...I want her to know she was appreciated but don't want to insult her with low thank you any suggestions.

How much do you pay a "Day-Of" Wedding Coordinator?
She works for a banquet facility that often does weddings, so she has experience. We aren't buddy buddy she's my in laws' neighbor. I was planning on inviting her and her husband to the wedding, but her husband suggested she be our " Day Of" Coordinator. I need her to oversee the set up of the vendors at the reception site and be my eyes to make sure everything is perfect. We live in Southwestern Ohio and it's going to be a fall wedding.
