Not at all. Its original and awesome. If there are people who think badly of it, they are probably not animal lovers and shouldnt be at your wedding in the first place...

It's different, sure. But it's not lame. If they are part of the family, I see no reason why not. It's your wedding, who cares what anyone else thinks? Pah....it's your day, do what you'd like : ) (It's the only day that you really do have a reason to do what you want! Embrace it!!!) xxx

Who are you marrying - the man or the two dogs? Sounds to me as if you are only marrying the man to have a dog walker & "pooper scooper " around. I'd be highly insulted if I were the groom. And I love dogs. They are pets - not humans.

No, of course not! It's actually really popular and a lot of people do it. There is a company in this article squidoo.com/ best_wedding_cake_toppers called Bitter Sweetz that specializes in these. I recommend them, they are awesome!

It's entirely up to you - I know of a company that makes bespoke toppers and their on-line gallery shows the variety that people have.One of the couples had the brides baby bump included,one of them with the couple dressed in golf tweeds,another with the bride rugby tackling the groom.It is your wedding cake and it should reflect who you are.Yes,if you want to include your dogs in your topper then include them!
