Low wedding budget!!?? help plz!!?
Ok so we want to get married next winter but our budget is really low so i need help on finding cheap bt good services in san antonio tx of photography, rental of chair covers nd table linens, reception places, decorations, flowers ect... plz help thank you. and please no dumb answers.
How did you set your wedding budget?
My fiance and I just started discussing our wedding budget and planning this week. We are primarily going to pay for the wedding ourselves. However, his parents have quite a bit of money and he said that they will want to contribute some to our wedding. My parents don't have much money and they just helped my sister pay for her wedding in September but they may help with a little bit. I want to pull off our whole wedding for under $5000 by doing a lot of it ourselves and getting little outside help but I want to set our budget SOON so I can plan realistically. So how did you set your budget if you knew that your parents would like to contribute something but you're not sure how much? I want to know how much they plan on helping but not make them feel awkward about it or be tacky by asking them. If they aren't going to contribute that's fine too I just want to know

Planning wedding budget?
I'm writing a short story, and in it one of the characters gets married. I haven't decided her budget, but in one part she is discussing percentages. I've never been married, but I was wondering what percentages of the budget what spent on which categories roughly . Assuming bride and groom are paying for the wedding not parents , but other that things like bachelor parties and showers are paid for by friends family. Questions about wedding budgets? How much did you spend?
I am with a really awesome guy..and I am looking into the future hope I'm not jinxing myself . We have both talked about marriage, and well, I was bored tonight so I started thinking about budget. I don't want a huge wedding, and neither does he.The only thing I know about my wedding..is I want it country..and I want real flowers. But to me...real flowers means $$$. Is that true?How much did you spend on your wedding? How big was it?I was with a guy several years ago..who wanted to get married, long story short..didn't work out. We didn't even get engaged...but he told me he wanted a $20,000 wedding that's a house down payment or half of one So..can I have a nice wedding, with real flowers..for a reasonable price? my fiance is British, I am Chinese, So I do not know where is best place our wedding. because I do not have any friends in the UK, he also in China. I think two wedding in China and the UK waste of money. So I want to know generally the British wedding budget.
Low Wedding Budget, Big Guest List -- Help?
I have about $5000 to spend towards a wedding, but would like to spend as little as possible. I could very well spend a low amount if my guest list wasn't that big it's a little over 100 guests. The thing that stinks is that it is ALL extended family of mine and the groom's my extended family is actually the huge chunk of it, but we're all very close and some mutual friends. When I think about it, I think of some people who I probably would not invite who are more or less family friends of mine and who all go to my church the groom and I were both raised in the same church, which is a small one, over all . BUT, it is those same people who are the extended family of my husband to be, and therefore my future extended in laws. The only wedding party we have is flower girls my niece, his little sister, and a few other of my cousins' daughters, all that age and a ring boy his little brother . He and I both love kids and being that we're 20 and 21, we're pretty young. So we like the idea of young life being at the wedding.Just about all of our mutual friends are from our church youth group, where he and I are basically leaders. We can't just NOT invite anyone, because everyone on our guest list is meaningful to at least one of us and have backed us and our relationship up since before it began.And then there's the food. I just want to have a get together with the people I love most to celebrate my marriage to the one I love most, and there can be sandwich and chips for all I care Weddings to me have never been about the food. But my mom, who is in a tight financial situation, is like " No, you need to have good food." And I found some pretty good caterers with great prices, but everything adds up, especially with 100 people.We're not having a DJ or paying tons on a wedding cake my aunt makes amazing ones and I don't want to spend more than a few hundred for a dress. I do, however, care about having a photographer, because the pictures are one of the most important things to me. I found an amazing one at an amazing price a whopping $1000, 20 % of my budget but then that leaves me with $4000 for everything else on my list.Any suggestions are very much appreciated. Wedding Budget Calculators?
I'm looking for a wedding budget calculator that will automatically adjust when I pay for something. I don't know if that makes sense. For example if a calculator says I should spend $500 on a dress, but I found one that I love online for $170, I want the calculator to take the remaining $330 and split it up between the other expenses. I plan on spending more on somethings & less on others that the calculator has figured up. Does anyone know of a calculator like this. Thanks for the help.
