Where can I find vintage wedding dress material?
I'm going to make my own wedding dress but I'm not sure where I can get vintage material and vintage lace for the sleeves. Can anyone point me in the right direction?it doesn't HAVE to be actual vintage, it can just be vintage looking

Background info, I'm 14 and a girl from Cent. Texas. I play guitar, piano, and people tell me I sing really well.My cousin is getting married to the perfect guy for her. They're wedding is in mid june 2012 and will be an outside wedding. The wedding is a vintage 1940's 50's theme. Where can I get a vintage wedding dress retored and transformed?
I'm looking for someone in Toronto & GTA that can help me transform my mother's wedding gown so I can wear it for my wedding. Could you please point me in the right direction? I need a professional to do this for me and I don't know where to turn.The dress fits me perfectly which is shocking lol. But thanks I will check out portuguese seamstresses in DT. The dress was initially tailored by a Portuguese tailor too so I guess it fits.And yes have to check for quallifications as its a very very beautiful dress.
Vintage wedding ideas?
I posted a question not long ago, and I didn't really have much of an idea. My fiance and I have been talking about a vintage wedding theme. I think of 2 different types of vintage, the 40's 50's 60's type vintage, and then the victorian gothic era. I personally like both and so does he. Does anyone have any ideas on either? The wedding date is March 17 so we have some time, I'm just trying to get ideas.

Can someone help me put a vintage Wedding outfit together for a man?
I'm going to a wedding in September and really want to dress in vintage clothing, but im having a hard time finding things that go together. I'm looking for things like suspenders a tight button down, possibly a bow tie, and skinny dress pants, Ect... I have no clue what colors I want, so your guess is as good as mine. We are having a small vintage themed wedding and we are incorporating burlap and lace into the wedding. I am looking for fairly inexpensive burlap tablecloths rectangle and lace table runners.
