Is it me or are wedding veils overpriced?
Two veils for wedding?
i have heard of two wedding dresses but not two veils. im wearing a floor length dress so i can dance easily and a cathedral length veil.my mom really want me to wear a veil for the reception and so do i . should i wear a shorter veil for the reception?what do you think?is two veils the way to go? riverconinfluence im an atheist and no i really dont care what you think.

Cowgirl hat with a wedding veil?
We were given the idea of having a Western themed wedding, and we both absolutely love it. We're in the planning stages right now for our set August date. We are incorporating our theme into as much of the wedding as possible. This includes a western comfort food meal, BBQ, corn on the cob, potato salad, coleslaw, and buttermilk biscuits a sweet tea toast, instead of wine horseshoe centerpieces, and, well, you get the idea My fiance also wants to incorporate the theme into our wedding attire, by having us and our wedding party wear cowboy girl hats and boots. This is where my question comes in. I love the boots, I love the hats on the rest of the wedding party, but I'm just not sold on the idea of us wearing hats. He has me considering this for only one reason, that being he actually found a cowgirl hat with a veil. It is very similiar to the one in the link below. The hat in question is at the bottom of the page squidoo.com ladies cowboy hats My problem is this While I like the idea of wearing the hat now, I don't know if it is something that I will like 35 years down the road when we're looking back at our pictures. I sprung the idea on some very good friends of mine, and received mixed reviews on the idea. I have a veil, do I HAVE to wear it over my face?
A family member bought me my wedding dress and it includes a veil. i don't want to offend them by not using it at all but i hate how it covers the face while walking down the aisle so you can't see me in the photos properly... can i just wear it in my hair or is there some protocol or bad luck behind it?

I love the tradition of wearing a veil during the wedding ceremony. I plan to wear it over my face until the kiss as well. So many people today, however, do not wear a veil. Or if they do, they don't wear it over their face at all. Which do you prefer, or what did you do?
