$10000 budget for vegas wedding enough?
we are planning on vegas for our wedding. There is no more than 15 guests. We are not paying for anyones airfare or hotels. We are paying for 3 airfare me,fiance, and our daughter and for the hotel for 9 nights. Also paying for the ceremony site and plan on doing a dinner vs reception at a fancy restaurant. With drinks being so expensive and our hotel and airfare costing around $3500. Is $6500 enough for everything else????

what do you think of a small 35 40 person wedding, with close friends and family, 2 bridesmaids 2 grooms men 1 maid of honor 1 best man, im from the east coast, so we would have to travel far, but we would save ALOT of money ALOT , even with a honeymoon, wedding, reception, plane,hotels, it wouldnt be tacky, chessy, the place is so nice on a lake, and the package comes w everything, limo videographer photographer bubbles minister doves when we kiss flowers for the grooms men bridal party ..etc. everything, you would need, we wouldnt even have to lookthe only thing we would need to get are invites, dress, tuxsshould i do it?

Can't decide between 4 Las Vegas wedding chapels!?
I'm torn between Belleza, Cupid's, Little Chapel of the Flowers & A Special Memory. The wedding will be just the groom and I who are a little older at 34 and 40. This is both of our's first marriage. We have a budget of $1000 $1500 for just us two on the ceremony alone. Money is secondary to having everything we want for the chapel. Any advice or input on any of these chapels or if there are any others that are highly recommended would be greatly appreciated

How to leave gift bags for Las Vegas wedding guests?
We are having a destination wedding in Vegas....we have guests staying all over the strip and while we want to leave welcome bags for all of our guests, we will not have time to drop them off at every hotel. We were thinking of delivering them as a group but we are not gathering before the ceremony. We thought of having the bags at the reception, but we thought the guests would not want to lug around a gift bag after the reception or be forced to go back to their hotel once they were " out for the evening" . Any suggestions on how to accommodate about 40 guests spread between 10 hotels?Can we drop off say 1 bag at a hotel and ask that they give it to " so and so" guest when they check in? Will they do that? We have a few hotels where only 1 couple from our wedding is staying at.Any ideas for an alternative to a gift bag?
What amount is a fair (or competitive) price to coordinate a Vegas wedding?
I just started my event planning company, and I was thinking I will specialize in Vegas and Reno weddings. Not your typical drive thru weddings, but weddings where the party would like to have something decent, with possible reception, etc... Note I am from California and will be traveling to coordinate these weddings.So, I was going to put my ad out, but I was trying to think of a fair price to charge for wedding coordination. My fee would not cover the venue or accessories because some locations are dirt cheap and some are in the high thousands. My fee would only cover MY SERVICES, which would be consulting with the couple, researching, getting the best rates, booking the location, working with the vendors, wedding party and guests, managing the guests lists, invitations, being onsite and coordinating at the actual event, providing a timeline, etc... I also planned to provide the full wedding party with a free gift as part of my services. So... my question is, what would be a fair price to charge for these services? I have to take into account that I would typically need to be present at the locations so travel costs for me would probably be between $200 300 alone for airfare and room if needed . I would like to make sure that I account for that in my rates. Note I won't need airfare for Reno since I'm just a few hours away. I know that people go to Vegas and Reno to SAVE money, so I want to be realistic. The goal is to do all the work for them so they can enjoy their vacation and have great memories of their event. But I still have to make some kind of profit... what would be a fair or competitive flat rate?I'd really love to hear from brides grooms, wedding coordinators, and Vegas locals if possible as well.Thanks in advance ec123456, that's why I said my services would not be for the average drive thru wedding. This would be for an actual mid to higher end wedding ceremony and possible reception or planned weekend with activities, etc... Many people have " real" weddings in Vegas, I've seen them at the Bellagio all the time.
