Head table decorations?!?
My wedding is coming up quick, 4 months to go. I am trying to decide how I want to decorate the head table. My colors are red, white, and silver, and there are 14 people at the head table.I found some tall circular vases that I like,100candles.com Images Items 9inch highx3inch diameter glass vase.jpg I was thinking about filling them with water, putting gems at the bottom, and having floating candles at the top and have one in between every person at the table. Is that too many? Should I do ever 2 people?Then, I wanted to get a longer skinny square vase wholesaleflowersandsupplies.com images 4 thin rectangle vase.jpgAnd have that in the middle of the head table, with the red stones and water with silver floating candles..What else should I have up there? More little tea light candles? Rose petals scattered? Any Ideas? What did your head table look like?

Affordable ways to make wedding table decorations?
We are going to have over 500 people at my sister's wedding and there are tables of 10.For each table we want the centrepiece decorations but we want to make them ourselves.Are there any ideas, websites etc. to offer help and affordable ways to make them?Care to share whats so funny?Oh um...theme? We lack that lol. This is a south asian wedding so we dont really do themes.And the table cloth is off white and the napkins are to match my sister's wedding dress they are burgundy maroon.
Where can I find cheap mirrors for wedding table decorations?
We are looking to put 3" mirrors under votive candle holders for our wedding and I can't find very cheap ones online. I'm looking for something under $0.20 each as we'll need 3 4 per table and around 20 tables.Any help is appreciated, thanks
Help give me reasons why Betta Fish would be impractical as table decorations at a Wedding Reception!?
I'm helping to plan my daughter's wedding and her fiance, who is a marine biologist, would love to have blue green bettas in bowls on each table as part of the decorations. However, we live in a small town, so I would have to have them shipped in, and then find homes for them, because my daugher and new husband live 3,000 miles away and couldn't take them, and I just don't have the time to take care of them we're talking probably about 10 bettas Any ideas, I told him I'd try to get just about anything they want for their special day since most of the family friends are here and they are having to travel and allow us to plan this long distance . Thank you for any input

What other table decorations for my wedding reception?
I'm getting married this August, my colors are black and lime green. We have round tables at the reception hall that fit 10 people at each table. The table cloths are black and the napkins are lime green. For the centerpieces, we decided on clear cylinder vases that have one lime green gerbera daisy and limes inside. The outside of the vase has a black ribbon a little more than half way up where the limes stop. What else should I add to the table? I have a feeling it will be rather empty looking. We are trying to keep costs low so we don't want anything to pricey.
Wedding bouquet to match table decorations...ideas?
I really want these centrpieces, it is 3 long stemmed orchids in a large round fish bowl with a few inches of water in the bottom. My colors are white and pink. I was thinking of doing Pink roses in a clear square vases, with rose petals on the tables with votive candles. I was also thinking of putting small black and white photos of my fiance and i on the tables as well for decoration. It is our day and It's not like i was going to put a shrine of us on the tables i thought just a few small professional photos would be cute. What is a good table decoration that can be done with martini glasses for a wedding?
I've decided to use martini glasses as table decorations for my wedding i was planning to have the cracked ice stuff dyed orange and put a tiger lily on top. Country Table Decorations?
Okay, for my wedding Im donig a country theme. They are long 8ft banquet tables, im going to do ivory table linens, with a tan burlap runner. At each place setting I'll have a bright yellow napkin floded with their gift on each one. I'll have wine glasses and each table as well. On the runner I'll have 2 buckets of flowers. Not just shoved in there but nice and orgainezed. Sunflowers, snaps, all that good stuff. Table decorations other than flowers and candles?
Okay, so I am planning on about 14 tables for our wedding. I'm trying to save money by not decorating every table with flowers. Today I bought 8 vases that will have flowers and 6 bowls that will have other things. 3 of the bowls are low and wide and I'm going to put stones, water, and floating candles in them. The other 3 bowls are not as wide and are a bit taller and I am not sure of what to put in them. The point of it is to look unique, with different types of old vases and bowls, so it's a bit funky don't worry, I am positive it will all look good together .One may look good with some decorative stones and a pillar candle in them but I'm not sure what the others could have. I was thinking potpourri that had my colors in them or something like that that wouldn't cost too much. The theme is vintage and the colors are sage and plum. Any suggestions would be great Thanks

Going to have a fairly small wedding reception probably 50 75 people. For my tables i'm trying to decide between 1 those floating candles in glass bowls with rose petals on the table with the favors all around, 2 a love bird centerpiece in the middle of the table with rose petals and favors or 3 since it will be near easter, easter baskets in the middle of the tables with rose petals and favors. Wedding table decoration idea to supplement green apples in silver bowls?
I'm looking for a table decoration idea for our 9 6 08 wedding. We are on a pretty tight budget so we're trying to avoid overpriced flower ensembles. My fiance has actually been quite helpful in planning and mentioned the idea of using green apples in a silver bowl, an idea he got from a fancy restaurant he used to work at in D.C. Anyways, our color are sage green and eggplant so i'd like to somehow supplement the green apple silver bowl idea w some sort of purple. Maybe candles? Grape vines? I'm not creative so any and all ideas would be appreciated. Thanks
