Is is a good idea to have a "standing" wedding ?
I'm about to getting married and want to arrange a " standing" wedding with my friends. Most of them are young people and number of the participants is ranged from 125 to 150. So is it a good idea to hold a standing wedding ? What should I include in that wedding to keep people active in about 2 hours ?

Culture clash wedding problem?
so i" m getting married and my fiance is Chinese, i" m half white and half Hispanic but the traditions are so similar it doesn't really make a difference.we are having a few different dresses.the wedding dress and short reception dress which me and my family paid for and the 3 different traditional Chinese dresses. two of the dresses have already been in the family so no cost there and the 3rd one was custom and more modern but still red.here is the problem we are having a lot of people and about half and half from each family.everyone knows don't where white to a wedding in my familyand everyone knows not to wear red to a wedding in their cultureboth families are very traditional,and wouldn't dare wear white or red.but what if they wear white or red and they didn't know beforehand,they will feel embarrassed about it and i don't want to hurt anyone because they didn't know.i don't want to be a b and put it on an invitation either cause that's just rude.how do i tell themim wearing all five throughout the wedding. one during the actual walk down the aisle and the other four during the reception. it happens a lot during Chinese wedding the bride keeps changing. the only difference is that im having a western ceremony dress, 3 Chinese dresses and then a western style short white wedding dress to end off the night because its easier to dance in a short dress.i don't have a Facebook and a website will not be convenient for many reasons.and i asked again because i was getting no advice at all that was helpful.its not like this is 10th time iv asked,stop snooping in my business and get on with your life.
Vegan wedding and family problems?
so i just got engaged and were thinking about elopement or a big ceremony but its really leaning toward a big shebang because i want to have my family there and celebrate.one problem,were vegan and everyone is totally okay with that except his parents and sisters.there constantly giving me crap about it. what do i do. hes vegan to.um no,its a vegan weddingFIRST OFF, not every single vegan meal has " alternatives" in it. the meals we intend to sever have no tofu or anything like that. people eat vegan meals on a daily basis they just dont call it vegan because they eat meat and other animal by products along with it. second vegan food is not bland. and if you take a vegan meal and compare it to a burned stake im sure you would take the vegan option. vegan food is very delicious and its not whether it has meat in it or not that determines if a dish is good or not.and third being an ethical vegan there's no way im serving any non vegan food,no way. if i was invited to a wedding i would eat beforehand and deal with it i would not expect for them to make a vegan dish just for me.once again its not if there's meat or not in the food its how you make it that makes a great dish.my question is how to deal with in laws that are bothering me.
How much should a groom be involved in the wedding planning?
My fiancee and I live pretty far from our families and we're having our wedding where we live. Since our families are traveling to us it's pretty much on us to plan the wedding. We have a wedding planner so we're not alone but I'm starting to wonder if I'm way more involved than a groom should be. When we start arguing over wedding details I'm left wondering do other grooms deal with this too or is it because I'm stuck playing the role the mother usually has. I always hear that brides have a tough time dealing with their mothers and now I think I'm filling that role and I don't think it's healthy for our relationship but I can't just tell her she's on her own planning the wedding. HELP

I live in Michigan and I am getting married in new York what do I need to go get the marriage liscence and can I get it 2 months before? And what is the latest I can get it? Can I get it 48 hours before? Please help

How do you pick wedding color schemes? Purple vs. Blue and accent colors?
I'm having a summer wedding June 2013 , and I'm having trouble deciding how to pick my color scheme. I've been to multiple websites, but they don't seem to help. I'm thinking periwinkle, cornflower blue, maybe a brighter blue, and possibly some light purples as options. I don't know what accent colors go well with any of those, though. Does anyone know of websites where I can see the contrast of these colors accent colors? I feel so lost in this process.

I decided to have a country theme wedding.One of the colors is for sure Aqua. I want to have 1 other main color then have a 3rd color as an accent.I would use brown, but my fiance hates that color.Oh and its septemberI was thinking about Aqua, Chocolate brown and a pale yellow but like I said the brown color...no orange.. I have long, fine, black hair, with layers my hair goes 4 inches past my boobs . It doesn't hold curl very well can anybody also give me any suggestions that would help me hold curl in my hair? . Wedding party- how to involve younger brother and ring bearer?
I'm getting married in September and already have my wedding party picked out. The groomsmen were originally going to be my brother and my fiances two best friends but my fiances brother is going to be able to make it back from China in time for our wedding. I really want my brother involved in the wedding and we're not having any ushers. He's only 16 but he's like my best friend. How could I involve him? Also, we have a flower girl picked out and don't really have anyone that's around the age for a ring bearer. Is it ok to go without one and just have a flower girl? And is there anyway to have our son in our wedding? He will only be 5 months at the time and I would love to have him involved but not sure how?
Wedding,cheating,,no more love?
I'm living with my fiance who is 10 years older than me . I'm 32.3 weeks ago, I left him bc I read a text message he received from some girl ..I called that girl and she abused me and said that she had a son that it's his . Then later she text me saying it was a lie. That she was sorry she had told me many lies. I was so hurt and confused. He then explained that that girl was someone he dated a few years back and texted him every now and then flirting , always letting him know she is still interested in him ..although He told her about me ..and indeed she said she knew about me . Also she lives in a different state to us.After long chats I came back to the house, he seemed very hurt that I left him and he know treats me like never before. He is very sweet and thoughtful, he takes me out and expresses his love for me . And tells me how hard it was for him when i left him, that there was not infidelity , and that she would just randomly send him texts sweet talking him..and i happend to read one . He was not expecting texts and he never hid his cellphone from me..etc..I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt on some things HOWEVER the fact that she said that she had a kid by him still haunts me.. I have asked him a few times and he denies having a child with that woman , He says that She just lie to hurt me and to take me out of the picture and maybe get him back ..and then she even admited that it was a lie. I see the effort that he is putting into making our engagement work..but that doubt hurts me . I have had similar scenarios like these in my life ..where kids were hidden from me .or a baby was conceived when cheated on me ..So im a bit traumatized I admit. We are back trying to build the relationship , but the doubt of him having a child with that woman comes back to haunt me and there I am asking him again for answers ...to which he says no and tell me that maybe I will never get over it ..he doesn't want to see me in pain or unhappy . He called her and told her not to text him ever again . She texted me and congratulated me for winning ....what? She said I had gotten what I wanted which was him..and she acted like I stole him from her....I was so puzzled. anyways we have cancel the wedding plans and are taking it step by step ..I see how he treats me ..and all the effort he is putting into this ..but in a way I feel like I don't love him as much anymore...i dont know if it's because of my doubts or if I just don't see us being togethter forever ...I'm confused.I'm trying to clear my thoughts and trust him again ..
