In some ways does divorce court favor women over men when the circumstances are the same?
I actually think that in some ways that divorce court favor women over men. Even in cases where the father might be the better parent alot of people feel that the women should get the kid or kids because she carried them for 9 months. I would also have to say that in some cases alimony is over used. It is necessary if a woman sacrificed her career for 10 plus years and as a result has little earnings but what about a woman who makes an average income and marries a rich man is it fair for her to get alot of money because she lived a rich lifestyle.

Do you think this would be an okay bridal shower favor?
So I am throwing a bridal shower on Saturday. I just found out, I have to buy all the bridal favors. I am beyond mad because I have already bought all the food, liquor, decor and rented the place. Anyways I do NOT want to spend a lot of money on these favors. I am thinking about giving everyone tissues and mints. I plan to place the mints on top of the tissues tie a ribbon around it. Is this too tacky? Should I just spend more money? We just started talking a couple weeks ago. Anyways, one day after class she asked me to hangout and we went to out for lunch. She paid for me and everything. Conversations went well, she seemed interested. The following week we hung out a lot. She even watched a movie with me in my bed. I am going wedding dress shopping and I am thinking of making cute lil favors for everyone that's going. Nothing big, but like a little bag with some tissues, paper, and pen.
