Christmas wedding favors?
Our wedding is dec 30, 2011 so we want to continue the christmas theme just a little. What do you think of wrapped gifts as favors? We were thinking of filling wrapped gift boxes with an irish coffee mug and 2 packets of godiva cocoa mix one dark and one milk chocolate pack each .I professionally gift wrap during the holidays for extra cash and for charity so I am confident that I can pull off all these gifts. Would them look cool if left as part of the place setting? Do you like what we are giving? thanks I priced it out, if I do the godiva and mug all together it would by $4 per favor. If I make my own cocoa which I sometimes do I could get it down to $3 favor... well within my budgetOpps, forgot... I live in Boston so our winters are nice and cold, there might even be snow during my wedding. I guess I will have to work out where to put the gifts as time gets closer. I was thinking of using the gifts with tags as table cards so the guests could grab them on their way in. I thought it would make them more 'gifty' if there were actual names on them.
Christmas Wedding Favors?
I am wanting to tie two candy canes together with a red ribbon and add a small tag with some sort of saying that relates to the candy cane somehow...I don't really like the whole, " hooked on you," thing. It sounds to cheezy for me. Any Ideas?I don't want to do the ornament thing...every single Christmas I have ever been to has the ornament as a favor. I have been to at least 12 Christmas weddings. I think the ornament idea is too original for me.
