Does anyone know of a website that will send me bridal catalogs in the mail?
A lot of the sites have PDF versions of catalogs but so far no mail option. I'm filling up my browser with bookmarks and it would be way easier to just fold down the corners of pages. Thanks
What to make for a bridal shower?
My 28 year old sister is getting married in about a month Way exciting but her bridal shower is next weekend, and I have no idea what to get bring. I'm 16, with no job, aka, no money . I really want to make her something, as I'm a pretty crafty person, but I have absolutely no idea, as I've never been to a bridal shower before, though I assume it's home y things. I would really appreciate any sort of help with this Also, may I add that she is my half sister, we have different mothers, and hers is deceased , my mother and our father are divorced, and we have no family photos. It sucks, and makes things a bit more difficult. She has a full brother, which is also my half brother, and our dad.
Went to a my friend's bridal shower, but I wasn't invited to the wedding Should I be as hurt as I feel?
One of my close friends although we have not seen much of each otherr in recent years invited me to her bridal shower,Which I happily attended. During the refreshments, the other ladies were discussing what they had selected to eat for dinner at the wedding. It suddenly occurred on me that I had not been invited. I was very embarrassed, as I was here to celebrate our friend's forthcoming wedding...only to be excluded from the actual celebration. My friend never directly told me that I was't invited, I had to figure it our for myself. Worst yet, everyone at the shower told me they looked forward to seeing me at the wedding. I went along with it, since I was so embarrassed. Needless to say, I continue to struggle with this. I was very hurt. Especially since I am getting married next year, and had already put her high on my list. How could I have been so mistaken about our friendship? What to do now? Instinct and etiquette tells me to drop it. I do not want to return my hurt feeling only to cast a shadow on her wedding day. I just don't know how to appropriately act or feel in this situation. Thoughts and suggestions are welcomed
Is it appropriate to ask the Matron of Honor for financial help with the bridal shower?
Here is my dilemma, I am the Maid of Honor in my cousin's wedding for next year. We live nearby each other and are very close so I have been the one helping her do everything for her wedding. Venue hunting, dress shopping, guest lists etc. It is expected that I do her bridal shower, which honestly I am thrilled to do However, the bride also has a Matron of Honor best friend whom lives out of state. I am still in school but will be able to give a descent shower on my own, but I feel that if her BFF is going to hold the title of Matron of Honor, the least she can do is pitch in for her shower or bach.party since she is basically doing nothing else to help out. Which I understand because of the distance. I have been doing some research and talking to others about the situation and ppl say so far that if you're MOH, doesn't matter if you're out of state, the least you can do is pitch in financially....any advice on how to go about asking? Or should I even at all?
I've put on so much weight and scared I won't fit into my bridal gown.... :'(?
Please give me some tips or if any dietitians are out there.... I do go to the gym and work out but I get so hungry after I'm back that I eat all over again....Please help.... I got two months left only.....Thanks in advance...
Question about bridal bouquet?
My wedding colors are black and white with a damask pattern. I've already made the corsages for my bridesmaids and the boutonnieres for the groomsmen.Since my wedding is all black and white would white and purple flowers with black accents look bad? It will be the only thing in my wedding with color and I've bought everything else in black and white so it's too late to change that.
Need inexpensive location for a bridal shower in Portland, OR?
I am looking for a location to hold around 20 people. The shower will be in August so outside locations, parks, and restaurant event rooms are all okay. I'm hoping not to spend over $500 for the whole event. Thank you for any help responses
Inviting men to a bridal shower?
One of my best friends is getting married in August. Already gave them a gift for their engagement, will spend a lot of money for wedding gift as well as bachelor party, tuxedo, etc. Not to mention I don't have a good paying job yet. Are they just being greedy now by having a Jack and Jill bridal shower? I honestly feel like boycotting this....
When do the seasons of bridal wear run?
I will be getting married in May 2013. I was wondering if anyone knows when the new season of bridal gowns and bridesmaids dresses comes out. I am worried that if I pick out a dress now, but we aren't buying it until December or January that a line may have been discontinued and stock may be low. On that same line, I'm sure you can find discounted bridal gowns right before the new stock lines get into stores. Anyone know?

I'm a first time Maid of Honor and I really want to make sure I don't disappoint Do to my wonderful procrastination skills that come oh so naturally I've now begun planning not necessarily too late but too late for comfort, I'm stressing out all the time trying to get all of the details worked out. If anyone has advice for party favors, decorations, food dishes some vegetarian , games or anything else that would help me out it would be greatly appreciated Also I'm on a very tight budget. Can I return a dress to David's Bridal?
I bought a dress at David's Bridal three days ago. I was getting really frustrated with my wedding dress search and stopped in there just to look around. I ended up buying a sample dress off the floor for $200 as a " back up dress" just in case I never ended up finding THE dress. Yep, I was that frustrated. Per Murphy's Law, of course, I went to a bridal boutique less than an hour later and immediately found THE dress the one that I had been picturing in my head for a year, the one that finally made me cry. So now I have one " absolutely amazing, drop dead gorgeous" gown on order, and one " not really my style but it's pretty and it'll do in a pinch" gown hanging in my closet.The dress was obviously on clearance and I don't even need to look at the receipt to be sure that the sale was final. Does anyone know if David's will allow me to exchange it for a store credit or anything? If not, where is a good place to try to sell a $200 wedding dress? Haha. Thanks for your help
