How many bridal shops to visit?
Me and my fiance are getting married in march 2011 and I am wondering when to start trying on wedding dresses also how many bridal shops should I go to? Also if I go to a bridal shop and want to continue looking at others would they be upset by that or do many woman continue looking in different shops?

Why do bridal shops have a final sale/no return policy on bridal gowns?
The dress is brand new, still has tags on it, I have the receipt, never been worn, still in the dress bag from when I bought it, my wedding isn't for another 5 months, I bought the dress in September and the store is still currently selling the same dress so why won't they take mine back, especially if I am going to buy another dress from them? I am talking about David's Bridal specifically. Serious answers only please. Thanks It makes sense to consider the dress worn if obviously I am passed my wedding date but the store knows that my wedding is not for another 5 months so obviously it has not been worn in the true sense of being worn. Plus after a close inspection they can tell that it's never been worn. That's why I don't understand the whole thing. Thanks for the more detailed explanation. My next question is this Where could I sell my dress and get the most return on it?
Do plus sized brides tend to get mistreated in bridal shops?
I'm a size 14 and I'm worried about going to buy my dress.. I've heard most shops only carry small sizes and some of them treat you badly if you aren't skinny... I personally think I have a very sexy body and I'm very pretty, but less face facts, I'm adorably chubby and I'm worried they will be a little snooty.Does anyone have reassurance, advice or experiences to share about this issue?

im looking for wedding dresses but bridal shops seem to have such prom ish and stiff dresses not quite what im looking for. anyone know of other places like j.crew or white house black market that have more affordable simple dresses? im looking for more breezy, simple, classic dresses.thanks

Bridal Shop Jobs At My Age?
I am only 16 years old, but I've known since I was a little girl that being a Wedding Planner was something that I was meant to do. Obviously, I can't pursue that for a while, so I was wondering if at my age, any bridal stores or any place related to the wedding process would hire me. Is it worth my time looking and going into stores asking? I have a lot of volunteering experience, so I have the customer service background needed for the retail part. Thanks so much
