Is my autumn wedding favor idea stupid/cheesy?
Quick poll Is my idea stupid or cute and original? My fiance and I met in October and we will be getting married in October too. Out first date was to go to an apple orchard to go pumpkin picking since it was almost Halloween. My idea is to have a table of large gourds little pumpkins for each guest to pick their own. Alternately, I could put them on their tables. We could also put out black and color Sharpies for them to decorate their pumpkin. Is this a stupid corny idea? Would people actually have fun doing this while waiting for their dinner, or will people think it is weird or for the kids only? I would also tie a ribbon around the stems with a little note that says something like " Charlie and Christine met 4 years ago today to pick pumpkins. Thank you for sharing our special day today" to explain why I am giving them a pumpkin. So.. good or stupid? If you think it is stupid don't be afraid to say so, just be polite about it. Thanks for your help. Also, if you have other ideas for an autumn wedding favors or centerpieces please feel free to share.
