Should I delay trying to get pregnant because of my sister's wedding?
My younger sister just got engaged, and I am thrilled for her. My husband and I have been married for 3 years, and would like to start having children soon. Because I am a teacher, we have always planned to try and get pregnant so that my maternity leave and summer vacation overlap. This would save us quite a bit of money since, in the state where I live, I would most likely have to go off of pay roll AND pay for my own sub while out. Today my sister told me the date of her wedding. It is pretty much my ideal due date. Now. I of course I understand that planning a pregnancy to come at a certain time is unlikely however, according to my doc, my husband and I have about a 25 % chance of getting pregnant every month we try, so it is quite possible that the dates may conflict if I shoot for the date I had planned to.Should I change my plans for her wedding? I will be her maid of honor, and I'm afraid she will be mad if she knows I purposefully got pregnant with the intent of delivering very close to her wedding date. At the same time, I really don't want to put off pregnancy another year. I am 29, and my husband is 33. Thanks for the advice

My friend's only 15 and she's trying to get pregnant! What should I do?
Alright, so this has been going on for about a month and 1 2 now. My friend has been trying to get pregnant for a long time, and I'm starting to lose my grip on her. She was my best friend, but now I'm disgusted and outraged by her. She's selling her body for sex to strangers, she's doing drugs and she doesn't even care who the father will be, she just wants the dang baby. I can't even stand to look at her the same anymore. I have tried to get her help, but she threatened me that if I got in her " business" she would physically hurt me. So I guess you could say that I'm scared of her. She's become outrageously violent, and literally hurts anyone who crosses her path. Her parents do know about this, but they are too scared of her behaviour as am I. At one point, she was someone I could tell everything to but know, with her trying to get pregnant and have already suffered three miscarriages, I don't even know why I was close to her in the first place. i am 17 and have 4 month old twin boys. i am getting married to the father, next year and we are all really happy. But my 14 year old sister wants what i have and has told me she is trying for a baby with her boyfriend whom she has only been seeing for a few months. how can i show her that she is not thinking straight and has to stop. she wont listen to anyone, and my family is going crazy. My dad is not talking to her and i know that she is doing this because she wants my kind of life. Please help I cant get through to her that she is making a huge mistake

ok i had the mirena put in on july 25 2006 after i had my last child.i just had it removed on feb 04 2010.i never had my period while on it,and i know that you dont need to have a period to concieve.im not sure when my periods will return.i wanna get pregnant but with out haaving my period i dunno how i will tell if im pregnant,i dont wanna spen a ton of money on ovulation tests and pregnancy tests what do i do?thank you for any help.

Makes sense. He has worked in orphanages in Africa and believes whole heartedly in adoption as the only way he would ever have a child.I recently met his new girlfriend who struck me as an odd duck right off the bat. Things only got worse when she decided to catch me alone and confide in me that she is secretly trying to get pregnant by lying about taking her birth control. She feels that once he sees the baby he will fall in love with it and be glad that it's there.I have no idea what to do. I don't want him to get trapped into this relationship by this really dishonest woman. I also don't want another unwanted baby to be brought into this world. My problem is that I don't know what to say. I'm not sure that he would believe me, it all seems so far fetched and I don't have any proof. HELP
Are OB appointments only for women who are pregnant or trying to get pregnant?
My little brother who s almost 11 and I spent the weekend over at my dad and step mom s place. I had a blast, but the last morning we were there I overheard my dad and step mom in the other room. i know this is kind of a weird question but last couple times me n my girl friend had sex i came in her, i usually pull out and she was on top i told her to get off but she kept going, i kinda got mad and her reply was i didn't hear you, which is completely bull coz i said it pretty loud. and no i wont push her away once we were just fooling around and she was tickling me and i pushed her off and she hit her head, she's not on the pill and she's not stupid either i'm actually the immature stupid one, thing is this happen twice in a row. we lie together she just graduated college and thinks we can have a kid we kinda had a talk about it a while ago, but i'm still in school and in the service so i'm not really ready for it she's 23 btw i'm an year younger
If your friend was secretly trying to get pregnant would you tell her husband?
My friend recently confided in me that she is only pretending to take her birth control pills and is secretly charting her ovulation to try and get pregnant. Her husband has no idea. They already have a two yr. old little boy but she wants to try for a girl, her husband doesnt want any more kids right now because he is now going to night college to try and earn a degree while he is working. My husband and I were friends with her first but now we are extremely close with both of them. It makes me very uncomfortable knowing this info and Ive tried to tell her its wrong but she doesnt listen. Do I keep this to myself or should I tell my husband, who I know would probably tell her husband or just keep my mouth shut...again, we are just as close to him as we are to her. Any advice would be greatlol, okay point taken...I think you all are right and I'll just keep it to myself
Girl that was purposely trying to get pregnant to keep her boyfriend?
I have a really good friend who has a daughter that has mental and emotional problems. She recently found out that her daughter's boyfriend broke up with her for this reason. They had been dating for about two years. He told her that she was crazy and he didn't want to have anything to do with her anymore. Apparently, she didn't accept this and told him that they were not broken up and that he's just mad and they'd be fine and she'd call him when he cooled off. He finally just told her to leave him alone and that he wanted nothing more to do with her and for her never to call him again. He also found out that she lied to him about being on birth control. His family thinks that she was actually trying to get pregnant so that he wouldn't break up with her and they told him to get away from her as soon as possible and not to contact her anymore and said that was really messed up. She had also been telling people that he was going to propose to her and that they were going to get married. Not only has he never considered proposing to her, he has definitely never considered marrying her. It's things like that and the fact that she's really manipulative, extremely jealous and clingy and he just got sick of it and wants her out of his life. Quite frankly, I don't blame him.Seriously, this girl needs help and I don't even know what to tell my friend. This girl is over the age of 18 and hasn't lived at home in over two years so it's not like her mom can tell her what to do anyway, but there has to be something that can be done. This girl has been in counseling a number of times in her life, but she's not honest with her therapists about her problems, so getting help doesn't do this girl any good. Honestly, I think she's just plain crazy, but I wouldn't tell my friend this. I guess I'm just wondering how I can help my friend deal with her crazy daughter.First of all, this IS a true story. Secondly, NO I am not the guy and she is not pregnant. She got off the pill and we think it's so she could get pregnant so her boyfriend wouldn't break up with her. It's my friend's daughter She's really upset about the way her daughter is acting, but since she's over the age of 18, she cannot force her to get therapy. Again, this is a real and true story And it's not that I care too much about the girl as I do about my friend. If your friend was going thru some crap, wouldn't you want to be supportive, too? Ok so i really miss my ex, we're both 18 and have broken up about 4 times over the last 3 years but it's been on and off. Basically i thought everything was done and dusted and although i didn't move onto other girls i kinda stopped missing her, then she phones me randomly and asks me to come over to her house, after she ended it we remained friends but talked rarely. Anyway i go over to her house and and sleep over for 4 days straight, our feelings for each other come back and we start calling eacother bf and gf again etc, but then on the last day when we had sex, she was acting all crazy, taking the condom off mid sex, begging for sex without a condom for like 2 hours etc and whole pile of other stuff but basically i was freaked out that she wanted a baby. She wasn't even on the pill when she was begging for it without a condom and said she didn't care if she got pregnant, she says she was being sarcastic but seriously what girls begs for 2 hours for sex without a condom.Anyway i didn't have sex with her without a condom because it all looked a too suspicious ive told loads of people, so they could give me advice and they all say cut strings with her. We're not really together now anyway and she keeps trying to convince me that she wasn't up to anything and saying she wants things to go back to the way they were and i do too. But what happened was too suspicious, and it made me not trust her. Like i can't go back out with her if i can't trust her, but i dunno i miss her as well and kinda am starting to think the whole situation was a mis understanding. But all the stuff is to incriminating to right off. Not really sure what to do, should i get back with her even with these trust issues?
