I have a question about teenage pregnancy?
okay well i dont know anyone that has ever been pregnant thats a teen but i watch like some movies and shows... the one that really made me ask this question was the secret life of the american teenager how come when your married the child belongs to both the mom and the dad, and both of them make the decisions... but when your a teen, the girl has complete ownership and makes all the decisions?the dad contributes financialy, but the mom lets say wont let him spend time with the child because she thinks its hers.
Do think that living in broken homes, is a cause of teenage pregnancy?
where parents are hardly arond to show emotional support to their child. they are never around, meaning no parental guidance.

I think that teenage pregnancy, the spread of venereal diseases among children of school age, abortion among teenagers, the rise of pornography and the rise of sexual activity between children of school age could be countered if there were more incest.If parents looked after their childrens' sexual needs, there would be far less promiscuity among young people, wouldn't they? And in general the young people would be happier and better disposed to behave well.Choq's reply is nonsense. There is no evidence at all that consensual incest does any harm to anyone.
Why do people have a negative view to teenage pregnancy?
are they just assholes, or jealous. i wanna know because im a male and expecting two children with two different girls and the reactions from people have always been negative. whats wrong with people? also im 17wtf with this irresponsibilities stuff. im responsible i am in it for the long haul with both children. and have the support of my parents and church.
How to cope with teenage pregnancy as a parent?
My son 17 got his girlfriend 15 pregnant. He's a very respectable young man. He's the running back for the high school's football team, gets great grades, is involved in the community, and is in JROTC. Apparently, they only used condoms because her parents wouldn't allow her to be on birth control. Fine. The condom broke. It was a mistake. My son was happy to be a father and ready to face the challenges ahead of him.Her family wants nothing to do with him or us. She on the other hand is a very sweet southern girl who is just a darling. We love her to death. How do we overcome this? What rights does my young son have to his unborn child's life?She's been pregnant for seven months now. He was going to the OB appointments up until about two months ago when her parents started to cut off communication with us.Is this normal? How can we convince her parents that they love each other and my son is stepping up willing to be a father?Finically speaking here is what he has already done Put her on his cell phone plan so that she can call if anything is happening with the baby. He pays all of her co pays at the doctor. He brings her basically whatever she wants from restaurants as her parents work very late. He would bring her to from her doctors appointments when they were still allowing him to attend.My concern is that he s about to turn down a full ride football scholarship to OSU. He will be eighteen in August. His plan is to stay at the local community college. That s fine but what if this girl abandons him or takes away his right? What if her parents press charges? He just wants to help and do the right thing. Why can t they understand this?

There is some teenage pregnancies and society finds it wrong, but I realised times ago people married and young ages we considered wrong and had children at that age, but sicne age of marriage has gone up, teens ge pregnant without mariage and are young, but would it be better if the age of marriage can be thirteen and teens going to through puberty and are horny find someone they and marry them and push off all that steam instead of waiting horribly for marriage.I dont want to have sex till I am married but it so far away that I feel like giving up.

I am 16 and im pregnant i told my mom today and she says i can never see my bf again but i still call him and the whole time even before i was pregnanthe said he would never leave me or the baby because he loves us and hes not raised that way and i believe him he is very different hes hard to explain but he always gives you his word and actually does what he promises he is a really good person.so i KNOW we will end up together but my mom is pushing him out the picture when i want him in it and he does too.I feel so sad I cant be happy right nowanyways my question is did you ever end up with your babies dad?I love him so much we been together a long time I cant see my baby and me without him hes really helped me alot

I have given my opinion on some boards, and teenage mothers comment or message me back yelling at me telling me that they 'Love their child to death and is glad that he she was born' And I repeatedly tell them of course you are their mother. But what do you feel about the girls that get STDs, don't use condoms, and has had sex with many guys?I for one disapprove. And think it is a lousy choice but of course YOU'RE GOING TO LOVE YOUR CHILD WHEN YOU HAVE HIM OR HER.

I have sex. I have been in a relationship for over two years and we started having sex about 6 months ago. We use condoms, but I don't have a way to get birth control yet. I would like to use birth control to prevent bringing a baby into this world while his her parents aren't prepared to have a baby, but my mother confuses me.Teenage pregnancy is very common where I live, we've got 11 pregnant girls in our high school. My mother is strongly against this. She tells me every day before I leave not to have sex and not to be a $lut, etc. She also has said this " You getting pregnant would make me just as upset as if you got killed in a fatal car accident." That makes me feel absolutely worthless. She tells me that sex will ruin my life etc, but yet she turns around and says, " If you ever want birth control just ask and we'll get them right away but I'll be very disappointed in you and you need to wait or you'll regret it." I don't regret having sex. Even if me and my boyfriend break up, I will know that I loved him at the time and it was right for me. Every person is different and has different morals. So how can I have a better, more honest relationship with my mom? I hate having to hide everything from her, but she is so strict. One time when my friend and I were younger, we used condoms as balloons. My mom found a condom in my pocket and started accusing me of having sex, called my dad and blamed him for letting me leave the house, and cried literally all night. It was pathetic. I don't know what to do anymore. Don't tell me not to have sex, your wasting your time because I'm obviously not going to listen.
