What do you think of pregnancy photos?

Question: What do you think of pregnancy photos?

(Posted by: Released From Captivity on 2008-08-26 10:35:56)

Out of curiosity, what do you think/ how do you perceive women/ girls who post pictures on myspace and/ or facebook of their sonograms and purposely exposing their bellies? Proud of pregnancy, or making a "trophy " out of it?

I personally do NOT have any pictures of my belly up on my myspace but I do have my ultrasounds in their own catagory. I think that most girls do feel extremely beautiful while they are pregnant and that is the reason they put pics up.. In my own pregancy book it tells me that in a couple months I'm going to feel beautiful... I'm not sure if I will or not.. but women get that glow! I think it's ok.. Let them be happy because when that baby comes they may be overwhelmed for a while.

Hey I think it's great. Nothing wrong w/ that. I think prego women are sexy.

I think they're great if someone wants to keep them as a personal memory. Personal is the key word. I think it's ridiculous to post them online to show off. Personally, I don't care about anyone else's pregnant belly and how it looks. It doesn't offend me or anything. I just think it's silly.

I think photos are great for family and friends but posting them on myspace and stuff is weird and i dont like when girls walk around with their bellies exposed pictures can be made beautiful but girls with half clothes on still looks trashy

Those are private memories. I would keep them as such. Of course , I was married and me and hubby were very excited. We also were in our mid 20's, not teens.

I see no need to post those kinds of pictures online. They can be beautiful when done tastefully, but I think pregnancy photos are a personal thing. Sonograms... I can see why some would want to post pictures of their "coming soon " baby.. but do they really need to be posted online where anyone can see them. Email them to close family and friends that may be interested and be done with it.

What does it matter whether they are proud or making a "trophy " out of it. My husband absolutely loves pregnant women.......he thinks they are sexy. If a woman is happy with her body and wants to show it off.........go for it.
