Why can teenagers be so stupid when it comes to romance relationships?
I'm a teenager and I know not all of them are just " puppy love" . But I have a few friends how I think have no idea how to handle a relationship. One of them says shes gonna get married to some guy. I asked her if she was dating him and she said no because it's not " working out" between them. She then said that he wants 4 kids and she doesn't want any. I don't get it. Why not find a man that doesn't want kids so you don't have to have any? Another friend of mine won't take romances from her boyfriend. If he tries to kiss her, she pushes him away. He is my friend and he said it really bothers him. I know other peoples relationships aren't really my business but I'm just curious. I don't have a boyfriend and I'm completely happy with myself and my life.

They never work out for me. Ever. I am only 18 and I would definitely say I'm inexperienced. I've never had a real boyfriend. All I ever get is intense crushes and situations where the attraction is mutual but we just can't date. I was in love with my guy friend for 3 whole years, but we gradually grew apart. I finally got over him when I met someone knew. I fell for the new guy, but he turned out to be WAY too old for me. I can just never meet someone who likes me back and we can never be together.I know I'm young, but I want to get married as soon as possible. At this rate, I'll never even go on a real first date. Any advice? Do you ever feel frustrated like this?

I started working at a hotel on the night shift, three days a week. On my shift there is a security guard who we will call " John." I thought he was smoking hot from the moment I saw him. John is a 35 year old happily married man with 2 kids. Anyways, last night John brought some liquor up to the hotel for us to drink on our shift. After we were getting tipsy, we started sitting very close to each other. We started talking about sex, & what we like. I told him that I liked to be choked. So the rest of the night he kept trying to choke me knowing that it was a turn on. He kept leaning in very close as someone would when they want to kiss. Then he put his arm around my neck to choke me & kissed my head above my ear on my hair before he left. He is very rough with me, as if he's wrestling with his brother but we both have agreed in the past that we like it rough. He seems very faithful to his family, but his action are questionable. Is he into me for a fling or am i reading to much into itI have not decided if I am going to pursue him or not. I just wanted to know if I was reading to much into it.

I'm not interested in romance/relationships/sex?
A friend and I were discussing this a couple days ago, and he was shocked at what I said. I told him that I am not at all interested in a relationship or sex with anyone, and that I find the thought of romance almost comical. I'm 22, almost 23. I've been in three short relationships a few months, not even a year but I don't think I ever really felt anything for very long. As shallow as it probably sounds, I got bored. Either she felt there was a lack of effort on my part or I told her it wasn't working out and we broke it off.Is this normal?

Do you think it is right or wrong to have an idealised view of love/romance/relationships etc?
I have noticed that on YA so many people have such an idealised view on relationships and love. Like if someone asks a question about a break up where the two people are still inlove, I see so many answers from people saying " well if he loved you, he wouldn't break up with you" ..true up to a point, but noone stops to consider other implications that could have caused this. Because sometimes life can get in the way right? Especially if you were young and building up careers for yourselves. I mean in an ideal world, no matter what happens, you would still be with your loved ones, but realistically certain circumstances just doesn't let that happen easily right?Im using an example of a couple breaking up but still having strong feelings for one another.Would love to hear other opinions.
