I need relationship advice. help me out?

Question: I need relationship advice. help me out?

(Posted by: dezibabii4690 on 2010-03-07 11:00:36)

Okay. I have a friend of mine who Ive known for about 6- 7 years now. We dated when we first met but I was really young and messed up the relationship. We've stayed friends but we have had a rocky relationship. I'm in love with him. The love I have has grown stronger over the years, even as we've dated other people and i just cant shake it. Ive tried to get past it and I just can't. I don't think he feels the same way. Can anyone give me advice on what to do here? Thanks.

It's been a long time since you two met, and tried being in a relationship. You have both grown up a lot, and aren't even the same people you were when you met and dated. You really have no idea how he feels. You really owe it to yourself to find out how he feels. The only one who knows what's in his heart, is him. If he is not in a relationship, obviously he hasn't found the right person for him. You will always wonder, and you will never forgive yourself if you don't find out. As him to go someplace with you. Someplace casual, but a little bit romantic. No pressure! See if some time alone brings the two of you closer. If by the end of the evening he has not taken your hand, or kissed you.....you need to put your cards on the table, and just tell him how you feel. I'm sure you will be able to tell by his reaction if he is interested in you. If you aren't sure, ask him. If he isn't interested in you, move on with your life. Boyfriends, lovers and even husbands come and go. But a good friend......is forever! At least he will always be in your life.
