Question: Why do many adults diss love & relationships as being simple black & white situations? (ten points for best)?

What I mean is, say if you're in a situation with someone (say it's a timing issue, which plays a part in MANY aspects of life) & you ask about it, you get some people that understand it, that have had similar situations & they get it. Then you get people who constantly love to tell people they are in a dream world or 'sorry to burst your bubble' saying theirs no such thing as bad timing, if that person is likes you they are with you, if they're not with you, they don't like you, constantly accusing both parties of something & telling them to wake up. It's mainly arrogant adults in late 30's/ 40's, I feel sorry for teenagers that constantly get told 'It's just a crush' as if they don't fall in love, it's insulting. Angry frustrated adults that have had **** lives & want younger one's to have the same, nothing in life is a straight forward road or simple as black & white, SPECIALLY love! I'd love good genuine thoughts here & I'm going to award ten points to the best answer, I kinda wonder why people do this, theirs looking at reality, then theirs telling someone about a situation as though they know the people involved better than they do. I'm so glad I'm not a frustrated person, this is coming from an adult who's teenage years have been & gone also! Thoughts please & ten points for the best responses! |
