Question: Is it fair that women always win custody and everything else in divorce cases?

Thats pretty much it please answer also, dont tell me this isnt true say if this is fair and tell me why edit:stop saying they dont always win my mom is addicted to marijuana, smokes it regularly and still got custody of me when i was born

There are many cases where the father is awarded full legal custody due to ; unfit mother, a drug user..etc..

Where I live that is not likely to happen. Fathers and Mothers are expected to co-parent together (50/ 50). Both the assets and the liabilities are also split. That's the way it should be.

THE FU.C.KED UP COURT SYSTEM SIDES WITH THE WOMAN ALL THE TIME. IT TAKES A LOT OF LOOT AND A GOOD LAWYER FOR THE MAN TO WIN. THIS WAS ALL ESTABLISHED AND LOBBIED FOR BY WHITE WOMEN. WHITE JUDGES WHO HAD SECRET SEXUAL AFFAIRS WITH WHITE WOMEN MADE THIS AN EASY OUT FOR WOMEN TO ABUSE THE COURT SYSTEM IN DIVORCE. WHAT'S FUNNY.... THE BIG PICTURE OF ALL THIS IS..... Nobody "wins " in a divorce. If the woman really did win, she wouldn't get 1/ 2, she'd get it all. It takes 2 people to make a marriage, so everything needs to be divided between those 2 people.

Most of the time the woman wins because often times society tends to view them as being the primal nuturers of children and better for child rearing, but if the husband can prove he is just as capable or even better, then the judge will grant joint custody or full custody to him. If I should ever be in that situation, I'd keep the percentage of children who wish to stay with me.

Heres how it works in Pakistan A man can divorce his wife by saying 'I divorce thee' 3 times to his wife. (this is called the Triple Talaq and accepted in most islamic countires) He gets the kids,, the house, the assets, etc. and he is no longer financially responsible for her (i.e. no alimony) She's pretty much out on the street with nothing . This keeps women in line , eager to obey and please , in fear of provoking anger of their husband , and being divorced. In fact, I remember when I was a kid, when my uncle and his wife got into an argument, he had a sure-fire way to end the arugment in his favor everytime : he would say 'i divorce thee' once as a warning ....haha If a woman wants to divorce her husband, she has to go through a court process and a judge decides if there is enough grounds for divorce However in most cases the man still gets custody of his sons and he gets the house and assets

Because women are good at manipulating people and playing the victim. There are also antiquated family laws that still exist. Those laws existed in times when women were not earning much and needed child support and alimony. I suspect they felt bad that women could be left with nothing so they wanted to give them the kids and some financial support. At one time men actually were awarded custody. This way back in the day though when things were very sexist towards woman.
