Wedding tables numbers, associated with maui honeymoon?

Question: Wedding tables numbers, associated with maui honeymoon?

(Posted by: on 2010-06-05 22:08:25)

Hello, I'm getting married on June 19th and we are going to Maui for our honeymoon. We would like to somehow tie in the table numbers with our Maui honeymoon, like possibly name the tables after things we would like to do there or things found there. Any suggestions? We have two parent tables and 10 guest tables (plus the head table) Do you think this would work or would be confusing? I've seen people do disney characters or flowers before. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!! Thanks Libby, I'm still trying to learn how to say the names of the city's and towns without butchering them too much, but thanks so much for all the Maui info!! greatly appreciated!!

How about names of towns in Maui? Wailea (why-lay-uh), Paia (pie-uh), Hana, Lahaina (la-high-na), Wailuku, Kihei (key-hey), etc. The head table should be Lahaina, since Lahaina is the formal royal seat of Hawaii. ;) PS... you're going to really, really love Maui. It's amazing. If you're doing the road to Hana drive, plan to stay overnight in Hana. We did it all in one day (one loooong day) and missed so much! Don't worry too much about food, because there are little food and fruit stands along the way. Auntie Sandy's is a must for some absolutely amazing banana bread. ;) Oh, and eat at the Kihei cafe. Their cinnamon bun french toast with coconut syrup will change your life.
