How to deal with not being in the honeymoon stage of a relationship anymore?
first off , i have anxiety when it comes to relationships . so this is a lot harder of a thing for me to deal with then most people . anyways my boyfriend & i have been dating for almost two months . im 18 , he is 19 . im the one with a car dont tell me to break up with him because of that i just moved to the state , waiting for college to start . i dont really have any friends . that will change immediately after school starts basically he knows im 'available' unless im at work . he obviously does not text me as much as he did the first week we were going out . nor is he constantly telling me cute things . & there are times he will be with his friends & he says he is so busy that it will take him like 4 hours to text me back . i blew up on him for it . dumb of me , part of anxiety issues which i am in the process of trying to get control of that basically i know i made myself way too 'needy' .. that was about 4 days ago . since then .. ive been taking at least 20 minutes to text him back . if he doesnt text back i will NOT text him again . will i die in my thoughts thinking about it YES but i dont totally freak out & text him bi ing .. ive been totally chill . i wont make little insecure jealous comments . like if he says " i was with so & so" me .. " hmm i bet" dont do that anymore . i got my new car yesterday .. i didnt even tell him til today which he goes " hmm why wasnt i notified of this? lol" my question is , there are times where i will begin to think just because he isnt ALWAYS calling me babe that he isnt into me . i shouldnt be freaking out about that right ? especially if he is still making plans with me & texting me occassionally throughout the day

Repost: how long should the honeymoon stage last?
I just asked this question, and people are thinking I'm talking about the honeymoon. Not the honeymoon, the honeymoon stage for new couples. it's a figure of speech , when couples are head over heels, lovey dovey, calling all the time, texting, sending flowers, not fighting, etc. How long does this stage usually last for you? 6 months? a year?

When does the honeymoon stage begin once a relationship starts?
Like you know that stage where you and your bf gf are all happy, with butterflies, and it feels like a dream kinda? You should know what I'm talking about it's the honeymoon stage in the beginning of the relationship. So I have two questions When does the couple start feeling that? How come I haven't ever felt that with my bf even though we've been together for 3 months?Do you have to necessarily be in love to feel this? Or can you feel it just from being infauated liking someone a lot?Cause like, I don't love my bf yet and we've never said that we love each other, so yeahh, i wonder if that has to do with anything..? O o

How long does the honeymoon stage of a new relationship typically last?
Take two separate scenarios for example....1 Generally, how long does the honeymoon stage last between two single people??2 Generally, how long does the honeymoon stage last between a single guy and a women that just got out of serious relationship?? Assume the two people are compatible, but the initial spark was generated by a woman heartbroken on the rebound and looking for comfort .Lastly, when comparing the two questions....Does the honeymoon stage last longer or shorter if your a woman on the rebound compared to a single woman...??FYI...I'm NOT referring to marriage, I'm referring to dating And, by honeymoon stage, I mean that intoxicating feeling of newness ya know, everything is peaches and cream . When does the feeling honeymoon stage TYPICALLY GENERALLY end in these scenarios? I say typically generally because I know every relationship is different. Thanks so much...

Does the honeymoon stage always end after 2 yrs when you are in the beginning of an relationship?
I am recently divorced after 27 yrs and my bf is divorced after 18 yrs. After knowing him for only 5 months and being friends we decided to get involved into a relationship and I love him so much that if we ended our relationship I would be more crushed than my past marriage. He has become my best friend and I want to spend the rest of my life with him. He does work outrageous hrs , which are 1 00 to 1 00 am , he drives 1 hr every day to get to work . So we are on opposite schedules but he makes sure he calls me a few times a day to see how my day is and to say good night. And we have weekends together however he does have a 13 yr old and take his son faithfully, every single weekend.Once a month he will take a friday off to spend with me and sometimes he is able to get home alittle early so of course I get broken sleep. We did move in after 1 yr into our relationship. After 2 years in Sept , he comes home early to me and says to see me but our sex life has sizzled to only once a week and at the beginning ,it was always every am every night he would come home all the time early to see me so I felt real important to him. Not only that the calls have deicipated to only 2 x a day and no more texts or pics he uses to send me of himself blowing me kisses. Now he sits and drinks his beers while I go upstairs to bed and wait. I am a very spicey girl and am trying very hard to keep the sparks going. But now I am already getting worried that he doesnt love me the way I love him . I have tried to talk to him but he seems to ignore me or tells me that am stuck with him. My lease is due in 2 mos and i have told him he has 2 mos to decide and we can be friends but he says of course." .your crazy and stop talking like that." and that I analyize things too much. What should I think???Am I being to needy???And yes I do realize that I got into a relationship to quickly but it is whatit is and he has swept me off my feet. Doe she already find me unattractive after 2 yrs and the mystery is gone??

Honeymoon Stage?
I was taking the bus home from work the other day and I was talking to a lady and somehow we got talking about marriage and how long she has been married and then how long I have been married. When I told her I just celebrated my 2 year anniversary she said " oh just wait, your still in your honeymoon stage" . Why is it that people say that and its supposed to mean that once that stage it over, then he will revert back to someone who is lazy or doesnt do anything. This isnt my first marriage so I know what its like to be married, but it still gets to me because I feel that is you are in a relationship then it should always be equal I know for some its not .My question is, how long is this honeymoon stage last and when are you NOT considered a newlywed?
