Question: Looking for the perfect cheap honeymoon spot?

My husband i have been married a year in dec. but we never got any kind of honeymoon. ive been looking into cruises, cabins, resorts. everything. i just need something cheap but VERY romantic!!!! help please. around 800. i live in southeast missouri

You make the real romance not the hotel. Just have a look in the travel agents for any cheap deals going in nice hotels. Then pack lots of honeymoon goodies and not many clothes. Ring the hotel and ask if they do anything for romantic getaways. But don't tell them its your honeymoon or they put prices up.

The best buys are in Las Vegas. There are hundreds of hotels and thousands of restaurants! Lots of entertainment and activities, just walking around the city will keep you busy! You can spend as much or as little as you wish. Lots of room deals, lots of inexpensive buffets! Websites like orbitz.com have specials on vacation packages. With a budget of $800, I would suggest you try to stay somewhere that you can drive to that is affordable. Also, think out of the box a bit .. a honeymoon does not require a tropical destination at an expensive all-inclusive resort. My husband & I rented a bungalow on the coast of Maine nearly a year after our wedding for our honeymoon - it was perfect for us. Maybe a trip to Memphis, TN would be workable for you? Is there somewhere else in your area that you have always wanted to go?
