We will be getting married at El Dorado Royale in June in the Riveria Maya and will be going to a different resort for our honeymoon. Any suggestions and why?I can see that some of you have not been to the Yucatan Pennisula before. Go to google images and look for a picture of the beaches in Mexico. You will find your comments are completely wrong. Haha
Found out my best friend's "adults only" honeymoon resort allows children....should i tell her?
I am MOH for my best friend's wedding, and was planning a little surprise room amenities for the honeymoon room for them at their all inclusive, which, according to their travel agent was adults only or at least my friend thinks it is, which is one of the reasons they chose it . Well upon further research, it seems like their travel agent screwed up and they do allow children at this resort. It's still a beautiful resort with many activities and restaurants and the rooms are beautiful, but I know she will be annoyed at the fact that their are kids there she and her fiance are almost 40 and she doesn't really have much patience for screaming children splashing around in pools . However, the wedding is in 3 weeks, and there's nothing they probably can do about it at this point..... so I'm thinking of not telling her and just letting her find out when she gets there. Am I a bad friend?? I just figured she's stressed out enough, and maybe the place is big enough that they won't have to deal w the kids that much. Would you tell her or just let her find out on her own when she gets there....

Advice on great honeymoon resort destinations?
Hi I am getting married at the end of June and my parents graciously offered to send me and my husband to any location that has a Hilton or Marriott hotel which is wonderful because otherwise we wouldn't be able to afford much of a honeymoon at all . Does anyone have recommendations of great Hilton or Marriott hotels?We saw on the website that there were beautiful resorts in Costa Rica, Seychelles, Maldives, and Tobago. Have you ever been to any of these places? Other suggestions are welcome, too.We are looking for a beachy, islandy, resorty type place, but we would also like a place that had plenty of more rugged areas to explore outside the resort. Thanks

Getting married in June, our honeymoon resort plans got changed, need a quick fix, ideas?
Oh no I m getting married the first weekend of June and my parents were supposed to let us use their timeshare in Maui, but because of some sort of snafu at the resort they are telling us it is no longer available, but if we pay $300 night, they can find us a room, they think, but cannot guarentee it tho. This was supposed to be our gift from my parents, but they cannot afford $3000 to rebook it, I have checked around and cannot find anything anywhere, I mean anywhere for less than like $2000 for the week. We want all inclusive, and I don t want my parents to spend too much. Does anyone have any ideas on cheap all inclusive vacations? I would like it to be no more than $500, as that is what the cost to my parents was to be if we went to their s on Maui. It s getting late, and I don t want my hubby to be find out, and I know he s really looking forward to a vacation. He works so long and hard, I want to please him with a nice sweet treat for our honeymoon. Any suggestions? At this point, we d settle on Siberia if it were warm and sunny and on a beach Please help

My fiance and I are getting married on May 15, 2010.Planning is going great. We're really looking forward to the wedding One problem is that we have no idea where to go on our honeymoon. Pathetic, right? We're definitely having our honeymoon somewhere in the Caribbean. We were thinking about Cancun, but we've been there so many times we want to try something new.Any suggestions?
