Since marriage is an institution that favors women, why don't women pay for the wedding/honeymoon?
It's no secret that marriage is a biased institution that favors women. Right now, the laws are so skewed in favor of women that a guy has no logical reason to get married. That being said, why don't more guys take an iron fist approach with the costs? Since guys get the tail end of the deal in a divorce, why don't more guys agree to marriage under the condition that their woman pays 100 % of the costs for the wedding party honeymoon prenup? Sure, it may seem like a lot, but it's no worse than what women put their men through during divorce. This being said, why don't more men take a hard line stance and make women pay for it?Cybi, I'm not single now. I'm in a relationship now. Plus, I have no intention of marrying anyway. Girls: honeymoon advice?
I am going on my honeymoon soon and I need to know a few things. First off, it is no surprise that She needs to do is put on a sexy lingerie set to excite the fire in me but is the opposite true? Online stores sell mens lingerie and I am a fair built guy though not quite cover mag material you know. Does lingerie for men have the same effect for women too. WHAT can I do to excite her as she does me. By the way, we are both totally virgins so this has the added effect on us. Please give me any advice you have on the matter. I got married 10 31 09 and we purposely planned a delayed honeymoon mostly because hubby had started a new job 6months earlier and didn't have alot of vacation time available.Our honeymoon is coming up in September and we were recently at dinner telling one of our bridesmaids about our plans. She asked where we were going, where we were staying and what plans we had. We've rented a small house on the coast of Maine overlooking one of the lighthouses. We're very excited After telling her about this she says, " Maybe Joe her new fiance & I could drive up there for a couple days and go sightseeing with you and stay at the house with you." I couldn't believe it My hubby who is related to this bridesmaid of ours quickly turned the subject but later on I told him I'll have it out with her if she actually tries to barge in on our honeymoon.Has this happened to anyone else? Have you had someone try to " tag along" on your honeymoon?I thought bridesmaid zilla was gone after my wedding day passed, but I saw her clearly again the other day at dinner.
Aspen colorado honeymoon?
I'm getting married 1.1.11 and looking at having my honeymoon in aspen, colorado but i cant find a reasonably priced place to stay that would be super romantic i just dont want to spend $600 a night, because i'm not that rich does anyone know a nice hotel thats romantic, and cute, for a reasonable price? and what all there is to do in aspen? or is there anything i should definitely do ?

hi just curious if anyone has any honeymoon ideas to share? where to go and things like that?we are getting married in la jolla california, we're from arizona, so I almost feel silly leaving a state that many people go to for their honeymoon but I just don't know what to do We have been looking at cruises and things of that sort like to the bahamas but I'm just not sure about anything I don't want to go broke on this one vacation but I also know that it is a one time thing so it's not something to skimp on any help would be awesome thanks
