I got married by court on December of 2007. My husband and I have decided to have our religious matrimony which will be held on May of 2010... is it okay to have a honeymoon shower??? As I already have the appliances I need...I've never had a shower done before and my other wedding was nothing big... Just close family members... Plus my dad was a no show because of problems we had... I would really want to have something done where my husband and I can enjoy with other couples.you guys dont have to be rude about it... when i got maried only 10 people went with us to have lunch... my father and mother did not show u guys dont even know how hard this was for me... I am not being greedy... plus im not planning or asking for anything. I just happened to over hear the conversation that my mother was having with one of my co workers... dont be suck d ck$ about it.

My fiance and I are exploring options for our honeymoon this upcoming July. We know that due to the summer, it is going to be crowded nomatter where we go. We've thought about Japan and Hawaii, both are super costly. We've nixed traveling to the east coast of the States b c of the intense humidity that time of year. Neither of us have ever traveled the West Coast of the States, and have heard that the summer weather is gorgeous, hence the idea of a mini road trip. Some people have advised us not to take the road trip because of how tired we could be, plus factoring in that depending on how we schedule our travel , most of our time together would be in the car. I was wondering if anyone has taken a road trip honeymoon, or maybe knows someone who did if so, I would appreciate hearing your about your positive challenging experiences regarding this. Time wise, we are teachers and have the summer off, but I can't imagine it being any more than seven days. Also, as far as a starting point, we are departing from Phoenix and are thinking of going to California. The drive from Phx to CA can be long and boring, so I'm toying with the idea of maybe flying into CA, and going from there, esp. since the distance is so far between the places we are thinking of going. We also haven't looked at a map, which would be a wise idea for us to do at this point. We've talked about San Diego, Napa, San Francisco...all which are very far apart geographically. Honeymoon phase and cycles of abusive relationships?
If you have been in an abusive relationship I'd like to know how long the honeymoon phase lasted for on average. My good friend has gotten herself caught up in one and I would like to know how often it lasts. Also feel free to share experiences I need all the help I can get to help her.Just to clear things up for people. The honeymoon phase is usually after the abuse happens. It's when they are really nice, apologetic, saying they will change and try to make you happy. After that is the tension building phase where you can feel something is wrong and he puts you down and nit picks. you feel like walking on egg shells. Then the abuse phase is when they hurt you psychically, emotionally, mentally, or sexual.
