Can a man sue for a paternity test if the mother is married and the husband signed the bc?
I am married and another man violated me, now he wants his fathers right and a dna test. MY husband signed the bc and has been taking care since day 1 he does not know I was violated.
Wife hurt that I asked for a paternity test. What should I say to get her to agree?
Married 3.5 years. Generally happy. No affairs that I know of and I haven't cheated on my wife. We just brought home our baby daughter this week. I had a friend who ended up having to be a father to a child that wasn't his for several years and I don't want to make that mistake. I mentioned to my wife that I wanted to get a dna test done on our daughter to confirm paternity and that it was just a standard thing. My wife responded poorly to say the least. We got into a huge argument over this and she seemed to take offense that I would even suggest it. On some level I understand where she is coming from. I don't really think she cheated on me and the baby looks like me quite a bit but at the same time it can't hurt to be safe. I would like to just get confirmation and move on. I don't mean any disrespect by asking for it and I want my wife to understand my reasoning.
Son is white, my boyfriend is black. Should I do a paternity test, or would that make me look guilty?
I'm white, my boyfriend is black. A rather dark black at that. Our son was just born, and he's white with blue eyes. Now, I know these things happen occasionally, and I KNOW my boyfriend is the father... I haven't slept with anyone else in over a year . However, I want to avoid the " appearance of impropriety" . Would it be a good idea to do a paternity test right now? Or would that make me look guilty? So for my boyfriend hasn't mentioned it. My big fear, though, is that he will have niggling doubts and take it out on the kid years later.
Why don't we mandate a paternity test for all live births?
Studies at Ohio State University as well as in England have shown that between 20 30 % of men who are lead to believe that they are the biological fathers of children are truly not. That is between 1 in 5 and 1 in 3. These women go off and cheat and know that there could be a possibility that another man may be the father but say nothing either because the man they tag as the father has more money, or it'll ruin their marriage, etc... All Child Support cases are supposedly based on " the best interest of the child." Well wouldn't it be in the best interest of the child to know who is is not his her father? To know what potential genetic disorders they may inherit? Shouldn't men who are not the father be able to know of this without demanding a DNA test Imagine a husband asking his wife for a DNA test, end of marriage . Now if it was mandated, these women wouldn't be able to piss and moan at their husbands for knowing for a fact that they are the Biological Father. For those claiming costs, economies of scale on DNA testing within hospitals would drive the costs of these tests down exponentially.Pepper The cheating b tch of a wife is who would be breaking up the home, not the hospitals for mandating DNA tests. These men and children have a right to know who the father is. I'm sick of having laws protect these American b tches.Liza, you shouldn't stop the law from being implemented because there is no equivalent way to see if a man is cheating. What is best for the kid? What if he has a good chance of developing colon cancer but doesn't know it because his real father is never brought to his intention? Or worse, what if Parkinsons Disease runs in the non Biological Father's family and the kid is afraid of developing it his her whole life?So Mama Mia The married woman is just another female victim to the big bad man who takes his penis out and a woman has no choice in the matter at all. Also you are a major C U N T and you don't subscribe to logic so therefore dismiss any study performed by 2 independent legitimate sources in different western countries?Liza If women know this would happen I firmly believe less infidelity would go on, or at least the woman would make sure she was using adequate birth control if she knew she could only hide her secret for 9 months. Playground I know that it is against a woman's nature to actually read a study, particularly one with numbers and statistics, but maybe you can get your boyfriend husband or a male coworker to sit with you and do research simple 5th grade level involving google and maybe keywords such as " Ohio State paternity" you can find the study and read the " Methods" section of the publications and determine how they learned of the number. Liza I have an extensive Math Stats background as an Engineer including most of my Masters work being applied Statistics. I don't need a Stats lesson from you. I could teach a 400 level Statistics course. Go read the studies to learn of their methods sample size dear. Also Liza, Mama Mia is a C U N T. She goes off attacking men when MARRIED WOMEN who have the obligation to not cheat are willingly sleeping with men. Women who blame the actions of everyone including women directly on MEN no matter what the situation and that women are always just perpetual victims are C U N Ts to me. I'm currently researching Foreign currency hedging, DEAR, why don't you pull up a new tab on your browser, use your arthritic fingers to look it up yourself?Jessa Since you are obviously a moron I'll try to break this down for you. First, this study claims that at least 1 in 5 women AREN'T faithful. What is it to me that some man is SCREWED into raising some kid that he doesn't know is his? What is it to you if a woman gets raped? I'm sure you'd be upset hearing about it, fearing it could happen to you or a loved or. Or maybe you have compassion for the victim even though you don't know them. Same case here you dumba . Very few men are going to accuse their wives of cheating on them without prior knowledge and these men are being punished twice over. A They are still being with some b tch who is sleeping around behind his back. B He is paying for her little brat that isn't his.Liza, I already know what yours is. You don't have the drive to look up a study so that tells me that there is no way you attended graduate school. The hell do I care if you are " on board with my idea" or not?
Should every father have a paternity test?
My father is 64 and has 3 sons, my brothers who are 27 and 23 and me, 20. The other day they were talking about paternity tests on TV and I asked him if he ever thought about having one with us. He seemed really offended and said 'What are you trying to call your mother? Why would I insult her like that? If there was any doubt I would have signed the divorce papers by now.'Do you think he really means it or is just saying? We all have features very similar to my father's.
What would you think of a man that chooses to raise a child that isnt his after themother lied about paternity?
I.E. jimbob is married dating jennylee and jennylee gets knocked up. jennylee tells jimbob that the baby is his, down the line jimbob hears rumors and gets a DNA test, the kid isnt his. jimbob stays with jennylee and raises the kid she lied about as his own.its not me. some people can ask hypothetical questions not pertaining to them to discuss philosophy and ethics.
Child Support and paternity test question?
Hi. Im a little stressed out so for the first 2 years of our relationship, me n boyfriend had a long distance relationship and he had a one night stand with a girl with a condom. All was fine untill she saw me and him one day and she sent very nasty texts to him about me being white and taking all the black men. Turns out she was pregnant not neccessarily from him as she had a fiance and its well known now that she was sleeping around. but they decided to attack me as rumour went round that i was moving up to live with him. the made rumours that they were gonna file for child support only to mess with my head and try to get us to split up. We are still together but it still effects me. The child looks nothing like him, and more like one of her other boyfriends ive seen cradling him.My question is we recieved the papers that she filed with the court that she was filing for child support and to expect a letter in the mail requesting a paternity test and a date. This was 9 months ago. She lied all over the papers saying she was unemployed, when she isnt, that they were together and living together for a year, that she was not with any other man. The thing is, to this date we have not recieved the paternity test letter for the date. Why is this has she dropped the case, found another poor man to be the father or what? its driving me mad, scared every day to find it in the mailbox. I dont want him to take a private test cause if she has dropped the case, i'd rather just not know, its easier to deal with. Thanks for any answers
How can a paternity go wrong?
I am in an odd situation my daughter's father has done a DNA test. He and my daughter share many things including skin diseases and allergies. Although this is not very relevant they are both left handed and both are hyperactive. There are no left handed people in my family and I am African American and he is Puerto Rican. There are so many other minor similarities as well. She has many of the bi racial features as well as the same bone structure as he does however the test stated she was not his and i cannot see how that could be. I lost my virginity to him and there are no other possibilities. Is it possible the test is flawed somehow?
Why do so many people oppose paternity testing? Or time limits to challenge paternity?
DNA testing would practically eliminate paternity fraud yet so many feel that the procedure is " intrusive" . Yet many not all people are opposed to paternity testing at birth because it's considered an " invasion of privacy" . Also, these same people feel that testing and revealing the non paternity of young children's " fathers" would be too devastating for them. Lastly, many people feel that testing a child in their teens is considerably " too late" since the child views that non biological father as their " daddy" . As a result, there is NEVER a proper time to conduct a DNA test to reveal the true paternity of a child. Most states have time limits on challenging paternity. However, many fathers discover that they aren't the " bio dads" years after the time limits have expired. If there were no time limits, then many men could escape from being " forced" to pay support by the state governments. Yet the issue of no limits on challenging paternity is frowned upon by many people. They argue that it's not " fair" to the child if the alledged father could take a test and simply walk away. Why do some people support the wrong man being forced to pay child support? Why do some people oppose the non biological father from having the opportunity to test his " child" to find out if he is the real father regardless of the age of the child? Thanks for your response.
How do I establish fraternal paternity if the custodial mother is uncompliant. After a divorce. Dale, Co. AL.?
She was pregnant, we got married, the child was born, I signed the birth certificate on the presumption that the child was biologically mine, we legally divorced. I want to know if the I am the child's biological father. I paid for a in lab test in her town, she neglected to take the child in for the test. What is a full proof method or scheme to get the answer. By hook or by...We are divorced, I already pay child support. I just want to know, so I can accurately manage my relationship with the child vs. getting on with my life.
What would you do if your wife cheated with 6 men and the paternity of your child was in doubt?

Can I relocate out of state with my child if the father never established paternity?
We relocated to california from Texas. The father refused to initiate paternity proceedings in the hospital when my daughter was born. There was no orders in place, he never supported her, and we have current charges pending for domestic violence issues. I tried to work things out with him, but he kept retaliating, using the law, to strong arm me into signing waivers of prosecution to get charges dropped. He has tried to " legally" kidnap the child where he did not return her from a visitation and tries to black male me into putting his name on her. The state of texas allowed this to happen, even though he was not yet the determined father and had not filed suit for paternity yet. It is because of hos repeated damage to me mentally financially and emotionally that I had to decide to move back home where is was safer for me and my children. He has now filed a paternity suit after we have already left. There is no way I can appear in two weeks to this suit that has been filed. The attorney general already had an open case and wull be working with california to establish paternity. I was told by my attorney as long as he had not establishment, and no orders it was safe for us to leave.. Dealing with this man has cost us everything we had. There is no way I can make a plane to texas snd afford me and my two kids..one is in school. What will I do? There was nothing in regards to paternity when I left. He is trying to force me back into texas and it is not safe because he will not stop inflicting hardship on us. We were never married he has never paid a dime to us...out of my courtesy I allowed him to visit with her.
How to celebrate Paternity Test?
A friend of mine's girlfriend had a child 3 months ago. She told him that he was the father and since they were in an " exclusive relationship" , he didn't feel he had any reason to question it. However, after I showed him the statistics of how many women have conned a guy into being a father of a child that isn't his, he decided to take my advice and get a paternity test on the child without letting his girlfriend know.Well, the results are in. And they are in his favor He is not the father and now he gets the joy of telling this b tch his wonderful news Any ideas on how he should go about telling her? We are no doubt celebrating after he kicks her and her bastard child out of the house.Yes you can Gina. Go to a lab that offers a DNA test with a sample from the child. You don't need Mommy's permission for this.I don't report people. Feel free to spill out your sexual frustration on me since your wife is too FAT for you to get an erection and even if you did she won't put out for you.
