Me and the father has joint custody and he pays no child support?
me and the father of our child has joint custody the father pays me no child support and has remarried and has a baby on the way i on the other hand am a full time student full time employed single mom barely making it i have our son 5 days of the week when he has him two days. he is saying he doesnt have to pay me a dime in child support and he is filing our son on his taxes this coming tax season which i dont agree with because he has two incomes coming into that house him and his new wife plus a child on the way legally what can i do?
What can my husband do to get joint custody of his unborn daughter whose mother has disappeared?

Joint custody of daughter is between father and mother. Daughter stays with maternal grandmother when not with father because mother is a convicted drug user. Mother has children by another man that maternal grandmother has legal custody of. Mother is not allowed to be in the same house with the other children due to an open Child Protective Services case.
Are you registered in both states with joint custody?
im 15 my names cecilea jones just about two months ago my mother and father have joint custody. i wish t get emancipated in the state of west Virginia in October, well i live in Malone NY. was wondering if im registered to both states since both parents have joint custody. it said i have to be registered in the state so im hoping it counts. plus i dont think my dad unregistered me from west virgina yet and he lives there.

As full time, my boyfriend, our 2 year old daughter, and I live full time together. On weekends his own daughter visits. Can I count her as an eligible household member? Does it vary by state? My husband is a convicted felony but he has been out for almost two years and he want joint custody of his kid?
He just found out that the little girl was his. His baby mother didn't no if he was the father or not and another man signed the birth certificate, so the little girl has another man last name. He also is the one who ordered a family genetic DNA test because he wanted to know if the little girl was his or not is there any way he will be able to get any right to see his daughter?
Father is going for joint custody and claiming child as a dependent?
I live in the state of MN, and have a 7 year old with a boy whom is nearly 28 yrs old . I left him the day after our daughter turned 1. He was abusive, an alcoholic, and a drug user. For the past 7 years I have received just $225 in child support, he never calls to talk to her, never asks how she is doing in school, etc. However, his mother and step father received visitations with her. This is where I am confused and fearful that he might win. He, himself, NEVER has had visitations with her, except one time, we had a verbal agreement in 2008 that he would get her every other weekend as long as he was at his parents house. One morning at 6 30am I got a phone call from his step dad telling me that he had left int he middle of the night and hadn't returned and his step dad needed to go to work, but no one was there to watch the child. At this point, I voided our agreement. He only had 3 actually weekends with her. He left the state of MN to Cali back in Oct of 2010 with the intentions of being gone for 7 years did I mention he is a felon? he then came back just a few weeks later and got arrested. His parents wanted to take my daughter to the jail to see him and I said ABSOLUTELY NOT, that is not a place for a child to see their dad. They went against my wishes and since then, they have not spoken to her or seen her.Her dad called to talk to her on her birthday in 2010 and she didn't hear from him until her birthday this year. His parents asked if I would let them take her to a banquet at the end of Oct. and I said no. They then stated, " We'll see you in court then" They obviously can't go for visitation, but in the papers that were served to me it gives all these dates that they saw her but no dates that her dad was with her . 1. can this even be used in a case concerning a father of a child vs. the mother? 2. Will that even stand?He is also trying to get joint custody and he wants to claim her as a dependent on his 2011 taxes he doesn't even pay his child support, let alone she didn't even live with him 6 months out of this year He's also a recovering alcoholic and has APPARENTLY hit a one year sober date though I find this to be highly doubtful his papers neglect to state that he is also a drug addict. He completed an inpatient treatment apparently again he's in and out of jail and I have no idea how he has had time to complete an inpatient treatment program .So, not only do I have those questions posted above about parenting time but what are HIS chances of getting joint custody?Thanks for that So very true. And exactly what I was thinking but it is still very stressful I have documentation, in which has been provided to my lawyer of the issues in the past. The thing is, there is nothing of him trying to see or contact our daughter, it's been strictly his parents trying to see her. Thank you again, this gives me some confidence

What do i need to do in order to get joint custody of my little half-sister from her older half-sister?
My little half sisters and her older half sisters mom died in July 2010 and at the time my little sister was living with me and our dad. After her mom died my dad got really bad off on drugs and has been in and out of jail since July 2010. Fearing for my little sisters well being, her older sister went to court and won sole custody of my little sister. In the beggining everything was fine, Me and my other 2 brothers still saw her frequently even though we were given strict rules on the terms that we could visit with my little sister and we followed them to the " T" . Then all of a sudden she quit answering our calls texts and shutting us out completely. None of us havent seen or heard anything out of her at all. The last time we saw my little sister was in July 2011 2 weeks after my nephew was born and its now December 2011. And it's not just us who cant see her. Outside of her older sisters immediate family no one has any contact. None of her our grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins. She just turned 8 yesterday.I was wondering what advice anyone could give me on this matter and if i have a good chance at getting joint custody of my little sister with the backing and support of our entire family.

Joint Custody with 3 kids seperated from eachother?
Me and my 2 bestfriends are moving in together. One is flying from Philly to LA and the other Northern California to LA as well as me . My friend who live in Northern California has 2 baby daddy's. One she has 2 kids who are 6 & 4 years old and the other is 6 months lives with her . She'd love to have joint custody with her babies fathers. How'd it work being 6 8 hours apart from Northern to Southern California? I just wanted to know any suggestions the court might offer or something they can consider. I thought it'd be cool if she got the older ones every summer and Christmas and fly or drive with the 6mo. old baby every other month for a weekend because her money is tight. Help us please thanks.

I need child support to survive. I want to contiue to live in the condo my husband and I now rent with our 2 children. He is an alcoholic who is abusive to me and the kids when he drinks. I do not want to be married anymore. He has too much control over me and when I finally become employed within the next 2 6 weeks because Im graduating from college with my AAS degree I want a divorce. I need to know how to file for custody. He loves his children even though he is abusive. He isnt physically abusive towards them and I am not that girl who uses kids as pawns I just need child support to continue to live where we live. I just dont want him there with us my question is if i file for joint custody do i still get child support? please help.
