Whose got marriage and divorce statistics?
I need specific age groups. Lets say, people who marry at this age have a something percent chance of getting divorced.

Layoff's and divorce statistics?
I am trying to find factual numbers, and any insight how to get these numbers would help 1. If you randomly selected 100 men 100 women that got laid off 2 years ago and they still are not making as much as they did before they got laid off 2. Take those 200 people and see if they got a divorceFinancial stress is the leading cause for divorce. My theory is that it is a bigger factor for women than men. My theory is that if a man gets laid off, a divorce is much more likely to follow than if a woman is divorced.Opinions, assumptions, facts. All much appreciated.

What are the lastest divorce statistics for usa?

just wondering.

What are the divorce statistics?
One of my friends recently got engaged. I want to be happy for her, but I don't think she's making the right choice. She recently turned 25 and her fiance is just 26. They've been living together for 14 months but moved in together after just four months after they started dating He was really hung up on his ex before they moved in. She says the rule is if you've been dating a year and you're 25 or older then you get married but I think that's crazy They don't have anything solid in common and both have had serious relationships break up in the recent past. Not to mention they both have divorced parents. What are the statistics for a marriage between them to last?I just want to add, I'm not trying to break them up or anything. I told her it's her decision and I support her either way. I just want to know the odds for my own sanity And also because one of my other friends got married after 15 months of dating a guy and they divorced five years later after a three year seperation. I don't want that for her

Considering divorce statistics in America, should "until death do you part" be omitted from wedding vows?
Should that phrase be replaced with " as long as it's convenient" ?

Opinions on divorce statistics.?
I know there are a ton of statistics out there that say cohabitation before marriage leads to divorce far more often, as does sex before marriage. But has anyone ever thought of why that could be? Statistics are tricky things, as they often don't take into consideration the rest of the persons life style upbringing, etc. Is this because people who do these things before marriage don't view it seriously, and therefore are more willing to divorce without trying? Is it because people who wait for all of those things, feel bound by their religion morals to stay, happy or not? Are people who wait, then afraid to leave because it's all they've known? Are people who engage in sex cohabitation before marriage unable to stay faithful commit forever? What do you think?None of these in particular are my personal view, either. Just trying to come up with a few thoughts others may have.

What can you tell me about divorce statistics in North America today?

What percentage of married North Americans, Canadians, and United States citizens actually married as virgins? What percentage of marriages is " remarriage" ? What is the current mortality rate of remarriages? Is divorce on the increase? If so, what is the rate of the increase? How is Common law marriage defined throughout the U.S.?What is the mortality rate for " arranged" marriages in other countries? What is the current mortality rate of polygamous marriages for various countries in the world?Thankyo

Why do we bother with marriage/divorce statistics?
My fiance is 28 and I am 20. He's a full time employee at a large company and has his own property. I am studying a double degree at a University ranked number 46 in the world, and will have two degrees, one diploma and one master by the time I am 26, with a beginning salary of approximately $60,000 upon graduation. As you can see, the standard statistics of marriage and divorce rates clearly do not apply to our situation. Firstly, I am under 25 but my fiance is over 25. I will have a better income than him in future years. I will also be more educated than him. My question is, why do people get so frightened because of the statistics? My personal philosophy is that we must forge our own paths through life, and only we can know what is right or wrong for us.I'm asking because I'm curious to see why people pay so much attention to statistics. I thought that was clear in my question. see paragraph 3 Hmm. My attitude? Hun, I'm just stating the facts. I think it's fantastic when a woman can support herself without her man's income, be more ambitiuos and succeed in her goals. This doesn't mean that I don't love my fiance more than anything or anyone in this world, or that he is not my best and closest friend. I'm simply quite confident in my own abilities to achieve. And he is always so proud of my success.

Do you agree with this interpretation of divorce statistics?
This is one estimate of divorce rates ?Fifty percent of first marriages, 67 percent of second and 74 percentof third marriages end in divorce, according to Jennifer Baker of theForest Institute of Professional Psychology in Springfield, Missouri.?Some say this is an increase in the divorce rate of previously married people. I say it is a decrease Of the group that were 100 % divorced and remarry, 67 % get divorced.Of the group that were 100 % twice divorced, 74 % get divorced.Isn't this an improvement for these 2 groups?Just goes to show how statistics can be interpreted different ways.

Abusive vs Non-abusive marriage divorce statistics?
Hie although I dont have the data to back up my claim,I am convinced that there are more divorces for non abusive marriages than for abusive marriages. What are your thoughts on this ?

Divorce? Statistics lie?
Do you think that marriages used to have a higher success rate because it was not socially acceptable to divorce. Where as now days its acceptable? So people used to just stay in a crap relationship?
