Help with some divorce questions?
My mom divorced my sisters dad about a few months ago but they were separated for around 4 years. My mom changed her number so if he wanted to contact her or my sister, he would have to call my phone. I'm 14 and all yesterday he was texting my phone repeatedly. I got angry hearing my phone ring over and over again so I cussed him out. He starts saying that me and my mom are jealous that our dads both died and that my mom was slut even though he's the one that cheated on my mom with a 16 year old . My sisters dad went on saying that he was a good dad, so I had to remind him the time that he kicked my sister out of his house when she was 4 and made her sit on the porch in very cold weather for about an hour or so until we picked her up. He starts repeatedly saying that he was going beat my ass and our whole conversation was on videotape and that same day he called my moms workplace yelling at her. so here are my questions Can he get arrested for repeatedly telling a minor that they were going to physically beat them? Can he get arrested for telling that minor that he was going up to their workplace to hit them there? Can he get arrested for harassing his ex spouse and later going to their workplace? Montana divorce questions?
So, first off, I live in Montana, and I'm trying to get divorced, ASAP. My husband left me with a POS to drive that, I can't drive with winter coming up. He has 30 some odd guns, and a chevy pickup. I would like to have the chevy, and some of his guns. I was married for 4 years, and neither pickups are in my name, and he had them both before I married him, he never supported me, 3 of my married years we spent living with his parents. I was a HORRIBLE husband, not physically abusive but VERY controlling. He never cheated on me, I have on him the first time we were separated. And becuase of the vehicle I'm driving, I dont have reliable transportation to get to work, and there no work down here where I'm living. Which is with my grandparents. I need any advice I can get.
Some divorce questions.?
My husband and I have been separated for almost 4yrs. He just recently filed for a divorce DIY . Well I received the papers yesterday. I am suppose to fill them out the thing is, is it askes for my SSN and I dont trust him with it. I cant be there because he lives in alabama, and i live in pa. Also he said i have to file a change of venue? when i googled it i found forms for a couple diff states but none for pa. Do i really need to do this? PLZ HELP i dont have money for a lawyer
Oklahoma divorce questions?
Ok December 2010 I was living with my husband in california. I left because he was abusive and have been in oklahoma since..we agreed to get a divorce however he will not send me that papers. its been a year and ive already moved on...so here are my questions... Since we've been separated a year, do you think the divorce will go quicker? we have a 2y o I've been dating another guy, and i know thats not exactly legal but its been a year, do you think that will cause any issue?? he was also dating and engaged to a girl in california AND he put his name on her sons birth certificate even though its not his. he told me, it was for a tax right off and is there anyway to wave the remarrying period in oklahoma?
Need help with divorce questions lost and scared?
I am getting ready to go through a divorce after 17 years of marriage. I am lost, have no money for attorney and ex wants a quick non contested divorce. We have separated 2 times, once last year for 9 months and we have been apart now about 7 months. Problem is I have a 16 year old daughter who stayed with me at 1st and now is with him because he lets her do whatever. He wants a quick non contested divorce his parents have paid for an attorney, I have no money for one. He keeps making comments about if I don't do XY or Z he will make sure if I do not pay child support he will put me in jail. He outright told me before things got nasty he would not ask me for child support seeing how we buy the stuff she needs together and she gets some of the stuff she wants. I am in school for nursing, my soon to be ex told me to quit my FT job of 4 years with good benefits to focus on school, I asked him several times are you sure you are going to take care of us, yes was always his answer. So I did and got a PRN job at a hospital that has NO guaranteed hours and my pay changes but is usually around 700 month GROSS he makes 2745 month GROSS I guess since she lives with him he is the custodial parent? I am trying to figure out what my child support payments could be to see if I need to drop out of school and get a FT job. Does he owe me alimony? He left right after he said leave your FT job I have us covered. Any help would be appreciated so much, I know this is long and boring just don't know what all info is needed. Also I see her every other weekend and sometimes he makes plans with her that are " better" than mine, he seems like he tries to mess up my time with her. Is there a way that it is court mandated that she has to come to my house every other weekend or what the judge says, she doesn't come during the week due to school and cheerleading although I would love to have her as much as possible, My child has never NOT been under my roof and this is ripping my heart out, he can go I don't care, her that is a whole different thing. One more thing both my parents died while we were married and about 150K of inheritance was spent, he freaked when I said I was going to put in my name per my family. I didn't like a idiot and all that is gone, I know please dont beat me up, I have done enough of that. He bought a Harley with that money, can I get it back? Thank you for sticking in there with me, I will shut up now....Off to find a lawyer that may take payments.... I am in the middle of divorce uncontested, in Virginia , can my wife make me pay her medical bills even if she wrote me a notarized note stating that we were separated and that she will not hold me responsible for any debt accrued during marriage....??? It is in the piece of paper with a notary stamp and signature....She is being nice, but who knows, ah woman.....
Divorce Question. (Child PoV)?
My parents waived child support when they got divorced 6 years ago. They now have joint custody of me. I am turning 18 soon, i will be a full time student highschool Senior and i am planing on moving out. Is there anyway i can get child support untill i graduate high school? I have looked around and i am unable to find a answer, with my question being so specific. Can anyone help me out? thanks
Divorce question about moving states?
My friend has kids and she wants to get a divorce from her husband. Can she then move out of the state her husband moved her to away from family ...and back with family? Basically, if you have kids do you have to live in the same state as the father even after divorce?
Missouri Divorce Question?
My husband and I were married in September of 2006, we got pregnant in November of 2007, and he moved out in January of 2008. Our child was born in July of 2008, my husband was adopted by his step father in August or September of 2008. He stated today he is filing for divorce and wants to have our son's name changed to his new adopted name. Can he do this? I am raising two more kids from a previous marriage without any child support and my current one has only started sending 300.00 a month since August of this year, I've been trying to save for years for an attorney but it looks as if I won't be able to retain representation. Any advice would be appreciated.In all honesty if he would of been adopted before I had our son, yeah his name would of been his adopted name, but the fact that they waited until after he was born, and now almost 3 and a half years later to want to change his last name I have issues with it. I am worried that if I can't afford a lawyer that he will get his way.

If two people married in ohio then moved to colorado, can the wife get a divorce in colorado but still move back to ohio during the divorce?We are military and I was going to move back to Ohio while he stays here so i dont have to be near him.

I am want to get remarried and the guy I wanting to get married to is worried that my x will be able to change my child support or make problems for use cuz of me getting remarried. I wanting to know is there anything he can do if I do get remarried, like change my child support or try to stop me from getting remarried and he also thinks cuz I have just got my divorce that there not going to let me get remarried but like I told him and it showed in my papers me and my x hasn't been together for for over a year now. Ok. So my wife wants,a divorce because she is christian and I am wiccan. We dont have,any children and weve been married less than a year. Ive already said she can have our material possesions except for my clothes and my books. I havent cheated on her and as far as I know she hasnt cheated on me. how should we go about it? Should we get a no fault divorce or is my being wiccan fault ? And will I have to pay allimony since shes not working.

My husband of only 3 years wants to divorce me. He tells me he is holding me down, and he messed up his other marriages and does not know how to be married. Divorce question.. please help?
im thinking about getting a divorce. We have a home in HIS name, if I move all my belongings out now before we get the divorce will I ruin any possible chances of getting half of the house and vechicles we own?
