Which is better for society divorce,adultery or polygamy?
With so much divorce in the western world today,and increasing levels of marital infidelity,wouldn't Polygamy be one compromise for this problem?With so much negative press surrounding men with multiple wives,in all level of fairness,wouldn't it be better if Polygamy with limitations be a fair way to control these problems of society.For example the man would have to agree to a written contract that no 1 His first wife gives her consent,no 2,he must provide for every wife equally in all levels financial,sexual and emotional.And 3.He must respect all wives with equal levels of housing,protection,legal and medical aid.Many people feel emotionally charged about this subject however few people consider the enormous emotional strain divorce has upon children when men go astray or find themselves attracted to another woman.The Bible itself never condems or denies polygamy,Polygamy is allowed in Islam,but with allot of limitations,if a man does not have the financial or emotional means neccessary to care for each wife,he is not allowed to take another wife.Also his first wife can disagree.How would this set women back?actually this protects women,as it allows their husband another woman instead of the only solution being divorce.Women have been feminized and given the same rights as man,however instead of equality,they got exposure,the crime against women is higher then its ever been,women are considered as sex symbols and at the same time expected to compete in the world of men.They have been exposed,their feminity stripped from them in a most demaning and demoralizing way.Feminism took away womanhood and replaced it with anarchy.To the poster below,the reason why Islam allows men more then one wife is because even science proves the nature of men and women are vastly different.Even if every man got married to one woman, there would still be more than thirty million females in U.S.A who would not be able to get husbands considering that America has twenty five million gays . There would be more than four million females in Great Britain, 5 million females in Germany and nine million females in Russia alone who would not be able to find a husband.
Virginia Fault Divorce(Adultery, Sodomy, & Buggery)?
My parents are getting a divorce in the Commonwealth of VA, since my mom is filing a fault divorce on the Grounds of Adultery, Sodomy, and Buggery means anal sex with another man under VA law she does not need the separation period he was cheating with a man . I was wondering what is the likelihood that their divorce would go to court, do all divorces go to court or can you settle a fault divorce outside of the courts? I will still probably be under 18 during the divorce so is it possible that I could be called to testify? I would actually love to testify for my mom against him. Also can my siblings also testify since they are all well over 18. Also what proof can be used to prove an adultery sodomy buggery case?Thanks Mushu,Let me explain, they did not get me involved, I became involved, because I discovered the affair when I was online with my brother. People change marriages like they change their socks these days.Commitment means nothing anymore & it is great sadness.No one fells out from love , they fell out from commitment.Marriage should not be entered into lightly because marriage is what it is UNTIL DEATH.I believe that when a man or a woman commits adultery they have no concept of righteous , loyal ,values , morals , no self control & no fear of God. It is sad that my husband is in that group of people .It is sad that my husband destoryed his integrity with our 3 children & me his wife.He is so self center.Adultery is so wrong & the fact that my husband chooses to do it means that he is not ready to turn his will over to God.If my husband did turn his will over to God , he would not be where he is now , he would be with me and our precious children.I know that to be true down deep in my heart.My husband will continue to do what he wants to do.Not myself or anyone else can make him quit. I was wondering about statute of limitations on adultery. I am with someone who is going through a divorce, and we want to get pregnant. Is there any way we can get in trouble if we get pregnant before the divorce without his spouse knowing, and then have the baby after the divorce is final?

I keep hearing that to marry a divorced woman is adultery. I am currently married, miserable, and lonley. I have stuck throught my marriage like a trooper, and have no doubt that I'll end up in a clinic for depression if I stay with my husband or he will cheat or leave me. If he leaves, do I have to stay married to him? I'm not interested in putting my faith which I am trying to develop in jeapordy because he's horrible to me If he does divorce me or cheat, am I stuck? Can I ever get married again? I didn't know that he would get this way Please help me out.

I was married to an active duty Air Force member. Our divorce was final on June 1st 2009... During our separation period I got pregnant by a different Air Force member. Now my Ex husband is telling me that the Air Force will charge my New Boyfriend The other AF member with Adultery... Can The Air Force really charge Him with Adultery even though we are divorced now...? He also keeps telling me that if My boyfriend claims the baby, the AF will force a paternity test and then charge him with adultery if the baby is his... Please let me know if any of this is true...? ? Just to let you know I divorced my Ex cause he was cheating on me. I walked in on him... I don't have any proof that he was cheating tho...
