How is this worded in child custody papers?
In my divorce, I get my kids the 1 16 of each month and he gets them from the 17 until the end of the month. However, when they are with me, he gets them for 1 weekend, and vice versa. I can't say the first weekend he gets them because if Friday is the 2nd that doesn't make sense. How would I word this? Or is it even necessary to have it included in the decree, as our kids are all teenagers and pretty much free to roam between the two homes.And, no, we are not using a lawyer, or I would not have asked this question on Yahoo I'm just looking for wording options.

Your Questionemancipation and child custody?18 year old daughter with job, and apartment of two bedrooms,had brother 10, back at the home of two sicko parents who prevented the boy from taking a shower his feet and hands were black, they keep the dog on a short leeshe in the kitchen and let him piss and where they prepare the food, and the mother hits the children there is photos of all this as well as the in the shower and dishes in the sink, the 18 year old has everything except an highschool diploma, and a drivers licence she is obtaining both of these in the upcomming year. but she is responsable unlike the parents now, the mother is really the culprit,,,, however the dad bases his life around the wife's feelings and around the wife and puts her before his children.... allowed wife to threaten him and children with wepons....the wife told the son if he tells anyone she will kill him and although he isnt happy with the parents he fears for his life so in this case might say he wants to stay with these people who have been convicted of child abuse in the past and educational neglect to whreree they cant work with children any longer due to their actions.... will the daughter get the boy oh and both parents have no income
Questions about child custody?
My son has lived with me since he was born. Me and his mom boke up and she moved out in july. I pretty much took care of him with no support from her for three months while she just lived her life. Even when she saw him it was during the day and now its just Saturdays and some fridays. She only pays me hlf his daycare tuition and thats it and sometime misses paying that.So my questions are can she just up and take him or do I have rights since his address is mine. What can I do to get her to not be able to just take him until i can get legal custody. What are my chances of winning? And how do i start the proccess. I do not have much money to just get a lawyer but I want to get this done.Thanks to all for the help.
Question on sibling child custody?
I'm 19, my sisters and 15 and 13, and we all live in America Fl .My parents are from another country, and want to take my sisters back along with them.Can I as an adult sibling , gain custody of my sisters, since we're all American Citizens ? Is there any way for this to happen? I do not want my sisters to go with my parents, since me and my sisters fear they will get married off. My parents are both legal permanent residents of the US, so basically my question is...how can I gain child custody such that my sisters can live with me. As a sidenote, I'm a college student, and make little income my scholarships pay my tuition and I actually save money , and my part time job is just extra money for the future, how much money would I need for custody?
Can someone explain Mediation for a child custody matter?
My understanding is my ex and I have to agree and the mediator is just a ref. Big problem is we can't agree which is why things have to proceed this way. Mediation is required before court but honestly don't see how it will help if we can't agree. We are so far off from each other I don't know how we can come up with a solution. Also, are current spouses allowed in the room? Do both of us sit together with the mediator or in separate rooms with the mediator going back and forth? Any suggestions on how to prepare would be appreciated.
Would yelling at a spouse in a child custody case means that you are abusive?

Can physical child custody prevent/stop mother to visit her sick family member in her country (India)?
I am that mother who is being stopped controlled threatened by the ex husband father of my child because I need to go to my country as my mother is sick back home and needs to get eye surgery done. And therefore I sent him request opportunity to have extended visitation period with his son but he refused alleging he has back injury therefore he cannot pick up or drop the child to and from school but is ABLE to travel from ATLANTA to MICHIGAN to exercise his visits consistently every 15 days. In the permanent visitation plan he added a clause that the child cannot leave US till he turns 18 but because he does not want to keep his child for the month I am gone, I have no other option than taking my son with me. Upon notifying him that he leaves me no other option than me taking my child with me , he sent me notice that its against the Court Rulings and I have NO RIGHT and AUTHORITY to make any decisions intact he makes the statement that HE does not find any reason for me to go visit my mother for her SURGERY as my mother has other family members. He also tells me if I want to go back home than I will have to give him my child's passport and social security so He can take my son to INDIA or WHEREVER HE WANTS though he has spine dislocation. I went to the superior court,county court,city court,police station.... to see what can I do about this kind of situation and the kind of answer I get is " I DONT KNOW" .....Father my ex husband doesn't pay ANY CHILD SUPPORT neither helps me as a courtesy for raising his child alone....i work in a car parts company where I earn very less so cannot afford a lawyer. I contacted several different LEGAL AIDS but either they have clinics mid next months or they are not looking into child custody cases.. If anyone can advise what are my rights or even what more can i do in this kind of situation would be DEEPLY APPRECIATED....Sorry it was kind of long and thanks for reading and leaving comments....He is not Disabled....He showed in the court his permanent address in GA but stays in Michigan working at a motel getting paid in cash..He claims unemployment benefits from the state of GA and works under the table in state of Michigan so he doesn't have to pay for child support as the court ruled in his favor such as Because he has to travel from GA to MI and he is unemployed so the money he gets for the unemployment can be used towards the traveling cost from GA to MI and he wont have to pay any child support whereas he worked under the table back then in GA and after the case closed moved to MI and works in motel paid in cash n still claims unemployment from GA, not paying child support and makes me pay every other month for the minor to go see him in GA as per court ruling he lives in " GA" ...

I recently filed for full custody of my two children because their mother is completely unstable and has abused my youngest child. I was wondering if any one knows a good pro bono lawyer or a very cheap one. I have a lot of evidence against the mother and am almost certain I will win full custody but would like to consult and have a layered present so the judge knows I Am serious. Thank you

my mom found herself a new boyfriend, and decided she was done with my dad in july 2011. she told my dad if he didn't move out, she would take us children ages 19, 16 and 14 and move us out of our home. my dad didn't want us to leave our friends, so he finally budged and left. He would come back 3 4 times a week to clean the house, buy us food, give us money, take us where we need to go, do the yard work, all that. My mom ended up leaving all day, and wouldn't come home until 1 or 2 in the morning. When school started, she wouldn't come home until 8 or 9 at night, as she was spending time with this boyfriend. she never admitted she had one. on new years days, she told me I had under two weeks to pack my stuff, that we were moving in with him. She moved us on January 14, and didn't tell my dad until January 18. My mom won't let my dad know the address, because she is afraid he will come and get us kids. My dad is now living back in my old house.Let me give you some information on my dad, he provided for us my entire life. He never made my mom work a day in her life, he came to every single event of mine, from practices, to games, to plays, every little thing. He fully supported us, and he is the best dad in the entire world. his kids are his life. My mom claims my dad has smoked pot my entire life, and I'm pretty observant, and never once in my life have I ever begun to get the idea. He never allowed any alcohol, smoking nothing to even be in my house. I am 16, and want to live with my dad, back in my original home. I want to go to court, but I'm afraid the court will tell me I can't live with my dad because he " does drugs" according to my mom. so if he takes a drug test, and it shows he does do drugs, does that mean I won't get to live with him?Living with my mom and her boyfriend, has made me very, very, suicidal. Will the courts let me live with my dad, even if he does drugs?
Have a question for parents who went through child custody?
So a couple months ago my son's father filed for child custody and I responded within the 30 days I was suppose to and now I don't know what I'm suppose to do next. Was I suppose to get a court date or when will I get that? It's been over a month since I responded. Also if he doesn't do anything after that how long will it take until I can ask or get full custody?
Child custody dispute?
9 yr old living with mom and boyfriend 6x felon on parolee no sex crimes but violent ones . Mom also just gone though divorce within the year. He btw was living there too. Bad school district, brainwahing, speaking ill of the father my husband ......it goes on. We can take her violating parenting agreement. But I want to just have hubby go for custody. He wants to but would cost LOTS of money lawyer says. Lawyer says he has a good chance now better than in the past. Says its still a gamble though. Daughter want to live with mom. Good chance for custody? Or go for violations and force counseling mom won't agree to counseling for various excuses .
Can I keep Child Custody?
Me and my wife recently separated about a month ago and have three kids. She took the kids but there is no custody agreement in place at this time. Some of my children have no rooms to sleep in and my two year old sleeps on the floor in the living room with no bed because there are way too many people in that house. When I get my kids again I am keeping them and im going to file for temp custody, In Missouri, Whoever has possession of the children at the time of the filing gets custody during the divorce. But beyond that since ill have the temp custody doesn't she have to PROVE me a unfit father to get custody changed?There are more factors than my kids not having beds and rooms but it's just a bad situation and I want my kids to have the best life possible. Also, i live in Missouri.Thanks for the feedback. But two of you are already false. Atleast when it comes to the " kidnapping" Of my own children. THERE IS NO COURT ORDER OR NO CUSTODY AGREEMENT WHAT SO EVER.Let me make myself clear.... In the state of Missouri if there are no custody agreements in place or a court order of any kind, Then one parent CAN keep the Children and no charges can be filed. I know for a fact that I can do this and then go file temp custody. Then I will get awarded Custody through the divorce. My question is if I have custody then doesn't she pretty much have to PROVE me unfit? I know I can prove that I can give them a overall better environment. And Also, If she cant afford a attorney, Does that delay the process or make it go by quicker?
