My wife placed a restraining order on me a few nights ago because i punch her in the mouth after telling her mulptile times stop touching me and leave me alone. She have been abuse to me also by punching me in the eye and pushing me around some. When I threathen to leave the other night she said that she would kill herself and that they will find her dead in the apartment. I have told her time and time again i think we should go seperate ways and I needed my space in which I have in texts messages she sent me. There is a low income person who is unemployed and collect SSDI income. His wife left him three years ago and recently won't provide financial information to the services for him to get a medicaid that caused medicaid denied. He needs help to get a divorce attorney. He did try to get Legal Aid and Legal clinic but they can't help him. He did try Volunteer Lawyer Project but it takes eight weeks after fill out application. A lot or attorney is cost too much for low income person that can not be able to afford it. Is there a way anyone can be able to help him to get a divorce lawyer?

Married 42 years to abusive man and desperately need to divorce him soon. I currently have no money of my own. He totally controls all of it and allows me to have $10 a week he removed me from our bank account 4 years ago . Both of us are retired, have a mortgage, one car and little furniture. His retirement is $3500 and I will begin to receive $1500 in 8 months when I turn 60. Not sure how to proceed. Is there anyone out there that knows a way to divorce without expensive attorneys? I am in Oregon which I believe is a no fault community property state.
Can my spouses attorney talk to me?
My husbands attorney keeps calling me. Others have told me that it is illegal for him to contact me. As it's his attorney and not mine. I do not have an attorney for our divorce as we have already worked everything out and the papers are already been filed. He only hired his attorney to make sure everything gets finished in time. Only problem is, his attorney keeps trying to make things more complicated then they are and trying to get my husband to change his mind on what we have already agreed to. His attorney has lied on numerous occasions and been caught doing so by both myself and my husband. Such as writing up documents and statements that he claimed we his attorney and I had already had, which never took place and tried to get me to sign them. Never signed them. He's given my husband bad advice, and then tried to get my husband to convince me to talk to him. I never called, so he had his staff call and harass me for 4 days straight, and now his attorney is calling. So I'm wondering is it okay for me to talk to his attorney or not to? His attorney has also been emailing me, and sending me our divorce documents in the mail trying to harass me into changing the agreement. Both my husband and I are pissed off at his attorney. And I keep telling him to fire him, but he says hes already paid the retainer fees, and the attorney won't give it back. So my husband and I keep pushing forward on " our" grounds for the divorce, but his attorney keeps calling. Now my husband is telling me to just discuss whatever it is with the attorney and tell him no, so that he will hopefully stop calling and harassing me. I thought that once my husband put the retainer down, the attorney was not suppose to discuss the case with anyone but my husband.He technically doesn't need to be calling me, as I stated, paperwork is finished. He was only hired to make the filing portion easier. If we were to file it ourselves with the courthouse, it would take up to 150 days of waiting, with an attorney filing its only suppose to take 2 weeks. Thats why he got the attorney, so we could get it filed and get finished. That was his only purpose.

Is it legal for my wife’s attorney to have an investigator hack the contents of my e-mails for my wife?
My wife has been solicited by an investigator that works for a divorce attorney. This investigator is a client of my wife s my wife is in the medical field and has offered this service for free to her in an attempt to dig up dirt on me that might possibly lead my wife to want to divorce me and in turn become a paying client for the attorneys services. This has caused a huge riff in our relationship as my wife has made me aware that she s having me investigated. Currently this investigator has hacked personal e mails that my wife did not have the passwords to and has forwarded her all the content of the account. My wife has now informed me that this investigator is hacking into my work e mail and they have a meeting this Thursday to go over the findings. First In my mind this cannot be legal and I would like to hear from someone that knows the law on this.Secondly My wife and I have been married for 16 years and we have 3 children. This attorney seems to have found a way to gain clientele by offering this free service, but it has been devastating to our relationship and once it s over theirs not going to be anything to justify a divorce. Can attorney s legal do this to people? Is this a common practice?What action if any can I take against the investigator and or the divorce attorney...????

My husband got into an accident in construction site few months ago...he was in hospital recovering from his injuries till last month.
