Childhood love/crush wanna meet him again, but have doubts he wants to?
In primary school i liked him sooooo much and finally in yr 6 he asked me out, and we were together for 1 year.. until i had to move schools and houses 2 hours away. I was really really sad and thought I'd never see him again. We were still together i think cos neither of us broke it off. We went to the pools one time and things were good. Well i ended up breaking up with him after a few months cos i was dating another boy... and he was really silent on the phone and then hung up on me. He was always very laid back, the cool guy, everyone loved him and a bit of a jerk he swore alot . It took a LONG time, only til yr 12 i finally got over him and didn't feel the 'want' and need to see him anymore. We spoke a couple of times on msn, and it was okay but i was so shy. He said he'd come see me at work once, but he never came and i was really disappointed. In 2010 i saw him at the clubs with his friends that i knew... but i had a boyfriend at the time, and he shook my boyfriends hand. Then later on that night i was drunk and we were all dancing together. Last year i sent him a message on facebook asking how hes going etc. And he never replied back and hes been on facebook. But i know he doesn't go on it much, he barely upsets his facebook and people are always asking where he is. but surely he woulda checked right??? i just gathered he ignored or didn't care... so i didn't try again.What do you think of this? leave it, let it go? He's very outgoing, grown up, goes clubbing, cool kid, and basically he can get any girl he wants and im SURE hes gotten with a lot of chicks. I guess it just really sucks cos i wanna meet up with him? We're 19 yrs old now..

Despite my crush telling me he likes me, he still won't make the effort to meet up with me. Why?

I am having lunch with a girl who has a bf. I have only spoken with her a few minutes at a party but it is totally obvious I am into her and she knows 100 percent I'm not looking to be her friend. I'm 17 and my sister is 6. My dad cheated on my mum in 2009 and THEN left. He's had heaps of girlfriends but they've never been serious enough to introduce us too. Meeting boyfriends traditional mom for the first time?
My boyfriend grew up in a small town and has a very traditional mother with very conservative values. That being said, in order to move forward in our relationship his mother must approve of me and our relationship, as per family tradition. Any advice on how to impress her? She has disapproved of all his past girlfriends which makes me even more nervous.I know that i need to be myself, what i'm more asking is if anyone knows of the more traditional meeting the parents etiquette?
