Why are people so disrespectful in matchmaking?
I hate being " set up" w. people too many expectations, not my " thing" , etc.. I'm single by choice and just really taking in time for myself. All my close girl friends are either married or taken for yrs and 2 out of 3...don't know why but it's like they feel sorry for me...desperate for me...insecure for me but I'm not that way at all. I'm a friendly person and open to meet people but relationships? Nope. Within the past yr, i've met guys who are 1 of 2 things horny " i think you're soo hot" ...and more. YUCK or desparate for a gf 'wow, you're soo cool, you can be my trophy girl . Guys use the " friends" excuse BS as a way of getting closer to me. There's no one respectful or old fashioned anymore. I don't care how long I'll be single, i learned that i can't SETTLE and lower my standards. I will wait for whoever is respectful genuine. What blows my mind is 2 of them just set me up w. whoever they know is single and is " nice" . I'm sorry but " nice" doesn't cut it for me anymore. You would think close friends would furthur investigate for you guys do . One friend TRIED to set me up w. a co worker but w in meeting him KNEW he was this horny guy. She said he was " very attracted diggin" me and he wouldn't leave me alone. I expressed my disinterest but both kept giving me the " friends" excuse. The other girl friend just gave my to her guy friend that wanted to have a girlfriend. He wanted to meet me never did and now he's " sarcastic" to me & tellin me i'm a " jerk" b c i haven't met him. OKAY IS IT ME OR IS THERE NO RESPECT IN THIS " MATCHMAKING" THING? I thought friends were more worried for their friend and what they thought of the guy for their friend like " oh, i have to pick someone i know she'll like and will treat her w. respect or else that will make me look bad." you gotta filter out the jerks and the horny guys...you need to make yourself happy not the other way around

I have signed up to a few of the matchmaking dating sites claiming to be free to view but pay to contact. When I select a prospective woman I always get a pop up window to pay for a yearly subscription or a certain period for membership in order to contact these women. This isn't fair. Why do men always have to pay?Do the women have to pay too? Let them pay for a change.I am starting to get suspicious too, because after you fill in your profile and select what type of women you are searching for and their age limit, I tend to receive a lot of women who are over the age that are not in my age group.Why would I want to go out with a young twenty something hot babe or an old slag who thinks she is a hot chick?.I would much prefer to seek an ordinary intelligent woman between the ages of 30 to 42. And no single mothers. I can't handle kids at this time.I am a middle age man and not interested in older women nor do I want to go out with someone young enough to be my daughter or niece regardless of their stunning beauty or not.Some of the pictures of women on these sites are damn ugly ones to boot. Sincere Christian Man Seeking Online Matchmaking Advice (Not Looking For Sex)?
I have been involved in the online matchmaking and dating scene for some time now and one thing I have noticed as a sincere Christian man seeking a sincere Christian woman is that there are far too many women on Internet matchmaking sites who are very afraid of being connected with men who are online just looking for sex. I know this because so many single women mention in their online profiles that if a guy is just looking for sex not to waste their time contacting them. In my experience, there are just too many single women online these days that are very paranoid about this, even overly paranoid. And its probably because there really are quite a few men out there who are online that are just looking for a one night stand or completely physically focused " relationship." A sad fact I might add, and it has so many single women out there running in fear from this phenomenon. I can totally understand why a woman would want to be very careful and cautious about this in today's sex saturated world, but can a woman be so overly cautious that she might miss out on a man who could be that one special guy that she's been looking for her whole life? Will she even allow herself to falsely lose hope of ever finding her one true love because of this widespread problem? Some women do, I'm afraid. You know, it makes me so mad that there are so many crazy men out there looking to get laid, and that these kind of men have made it so much harder for us true gentleman to find the love of our life without scaring off almost every compatible match if she even has the slightest doubt that a guy might not really be the gentleman he seems to be, even when he really is. As is often the case, a guy will " play nice" at first in order to lure a woman closer to him, then turn out to be a jerk later because he just wanted to get into her pants the whole time How pathetic is that? First, I want everyone to know that I'm not an overweight, nerdy, unattractive guy. I am physically fit, fairly good looking, and live an active social life. I do date quite a bit, but it seems like every woman I date is very self absorbed. It seems like they all suffer from " entitlement issues" as I've heard it put. I'm not looking for a subservient housewife whose only desire is to please me.
