Know of any good dating coaches/matchmakers?
I was looking at VH1 " tough love" & realised that there is ALOT that I dont know about what attracts disgust the opposite sex. Eg, less makeup is best, dont advertise shortcomings. After this epiphany I decided that if i was to ever enter the dating world again been on a hiatus , a coach would be great to have. A bias person to talk to, that actually know about relationships. Im in Fl

Meeting with a matchmaker tomorrow - advice please?
I will be meeting with a professional matchmaker tomorrow and a little scared about how to present myself. I am female, 30s, and have a very limited dating experience. I have never had a long term relationship and am not sure how to explain that. I also don't know how to answer the question " what are you looking for?" Any suggestions? I am also worried that she will want to discuss my dating failures and I am afraid to to feel humiliated. Any tips would be amazing. Thanks.

Why do friends try to play matchmaker?
My friends know that I am already interested in this one guy. The problem is, they keep trying to play matchmaker and try to get me to date guys I don't like or know. One friend said " you should date guys name" and I said no. Then she says " Just Joking " My other friends are friends with him and they keep trying to make him ask me out. They keep on dragging and pushing him literally to say something to me. This guy is really shy and he never even talks to me. He is even afraid to stand next to me. I have another friend who asks her friend to go and talk to my crush for me. I didn't ask. She even told me that she told this guy whom I don't know that we should date. When I asked who this person was, she didn't even want to tell me at first. This has all happened within 2 weeks. They think it's funny. I don't think dating is a game, I don't date people whom I'm not interested in.So why do they do this? No rude trolling answers or I'll report. My friends are also single, so why aren't they trying to find themselves a boyfriend girlfriend instead of me?

Is it wrong to want to get those matchmaker results just to see who your matches are?
my school had a matchmaker quiz and you have to buy the results and i want to buy them to see who i was matched up with. not to actually date them or anything.my nanny said its fortune telling and she does not want me to buy it. i told her i just want to see who they said were my celeb matches and friend matches. i don't care about the dating matches. is that so bad?nanny is my grandma. we go to church. i wasn't going to take it seriously. i just wanted it because it has cool stuff on it. i maight at least get those smencils. those are cool. smencils are scented pencils btw.

Why would any rich person go on "Millionaire Matchmaker" to get a date?
Considering all those men and women who try out to go to the mixer and eventually meet them are basically gold diggers or fame seekers? Who else would go try out to be on a dating TV show where the person looking for love is a MILLIONAIRE Those people could care less how the millionaire looks or acts, they just want the date for fame or money. If i were rick and successful I wouldn't subject myself to that crap

How do you become a matchmaker?
i think it might be the job for me, but i don't know much about how matchmakers make moneyis this a good profession?

How does a matchmaker work and how would i find one?
I am a 33 year old male and i am interested in getting married. I am not really into the club scene and I want to find a spouse in the most efficient manner. I have heard that Arranged marriages and marriages through matchmakers are less likely to end in divorce. I have heard from a friend from Saudi Arabia that when a man wants a wife he talks to his mother about what his ideal mate would be like and she starts searching for her for him. If this is what matchmakers do than i would be game. I do not want to waste time and money on someone who just wants a goodtime.

Is this a better dating site than matchmaker.com ?
which site has the better success rate ?

Does anyone have any experience with MatchMaker.com dating site? or can suggest anything else?
Hey Everyone, i just need some input on what you think of this dating site Matchmaker.com i work about 60 hrs a week and i don't have much time to go out and meet people so i decided to sign up to the site and created a profile. I noticed there are lots of people on that site but in order for me to chat with anyone or E mail anyone i would have to subscribe and pay 40$ a month which i did not subscribe yet. I noticed as soon as i signed up i started having messages from different women which didn't live in the same province as me which didn't make any sense because you figure dating sites will match you up with someone who's a bit closer to where you live. Most pictures seem to be fake looking like supermodels. I started to wonder if this is a marketing strategy to get people excited so they can just subscribe and turn out to be fake. i'm just asking since am new to this whole dating online thing. I'm more like old school where i would prefer to meet people outside face to face. Any advice? Thank you all for your input.
