I think marriage, dating, sex, and love is all a joke, and look at it more as a hassle then happiness. Normal?
I used to feel a spark, but after being played with and getting my heart crushed I dont anymore. I havent been interested in anybody for 2 years, even sexually And now when somebody is interested in me I tell them Im not, and they persist. All I want to do is my life in peace alone.I am happy in life, it just annoys me when my friends try to hook me up with someone, or when somebody is interested in me and they persist.

How do you deal with parents against interracial marriages/dating?
My traditional Vietnamese family does NOT love the idea of interracial marriage or dating for me or my brother. They would want for us to have strictly Vietnamese spouses because they believe Vietnamese men or women are better suited for us and more husband wife material. Of course I find this statement to be extremely contradictory and a bit hypocritical, since my dad's brothers and mom's Vietnamese friends have not been so faithful to their wives or husbands. In this post racial society, I've been educated enough to know that race does not determine who is the perfect spouse for us. A good American husband is no different than a good Vietnamese husband, as well as a American cheater is no different than an Vietnamese cheater. I have personally talked to my mom about what she thought of interracial marriages, and it pretty much seems clear to me that her negative opinions about interracial marriages will never waver same goes for my dad, too . This situation is very frustrating for me because I absolutely hate having people control my life and limit my options. My parents wishes are simply unfair and it hurts because if I ever date someone not Vietnamese, I would not like to have my parents think I'm a sinner and would not want to feel guilty for it. How do you deal with traditional parents? Have you experienced what I'm experiencing? If so, what did you do?

one of my best lady friends had just broke up with her bf, they have known each other for 8 or 9 years, and had been dating for a year and HALF, and about three weeks after wards, i started dating her, we have known each other for 2 yrs now, and it lasted 1 day...because i broke it off because she was being awkward, so as of now she is now talking to us both and wont choose who she likes best....she has told me that she likes him and wants to go out with him but she thinks she likes me and she doesn't know who she wants....she is a senior in high school and i am getting the feeling that shes picking the person that she wants to marry, because she has been completely serious and and is really upset and she said she doesn't want to make the wrong choice...1, is she thinking about marriage?????? 2. should i just drop it because she might be playing me as a backup..." she is one of my best friends" 3. and she has said that she wants he to go to the same college as her after high school and doesn't want to let me go....? i don't know what this means, I AM A STUPID MALE AND CANT READ BETWEEN THE LINES... i really need help.

Should you not have the same respect for sex inside and outside of marriage? dating?
I am not saying that premarital sex is wrong. It is perfectly okay if you truly care for that person and you are in love with them. However, it seems that many couples thinks it gives them the right to cheat or that they should place sex above everything else in the relationship. Course, it is definitely great to have a healthy sex life in marriage and dating.Personally, I think if you decide to have sex before marriage you should take into account that there has to be equal communication, respect and trust too. I am just saying that if you are going to be intimate when you are dating, and most people are, that you should place the same respect on your relationship as you would in a marriage. Don't you agree with that? It just seems to me that young people have no respect or morals these days and that happens when you are a little older.I just hear of and read about couples where they have no emotional connection and they just have sex all the time no real relationship. Sure sex is a bonus but you might as well just get an escort and be fwb.If your partner starts lacking in sex or is unwilling then you have a right to be concerned. However, I hate to wonder about a spouse or lovers self control when their spouse or so has to go away for a while on business or something.

For interracial marriage/dating, what's the success rate for asian males and white female pairings?
my wife and i not americans were discussing it regarding an American nephew of ours.for example, we know statistically, Americans have a 50 % divorce rate. At least from media, we know that a black male white female pairing isn't too odd anymore, but in some places of the US will still get you looked at? at least from what a co worker told us, such kids are neither black nor white .How about asian kids from asian male white female? we're very impressed with her she speaks our language , but american girls or guys don't get a good rap here....lol...

How do I convince my parents for interracial marriage/dating?
Me and my best friend want to move our friendship onto a relationship. The only thing is that I am scared about what my parents are going to say. My parents and I are East Indians whereas her parents are from Southern India. My parents speak Punjabi, hers speak English.The main problem my parents find in this whole deal is that if we start dating and decide to get married in the future, they are concerned about how they will communicate with her and her parents, since my parents aren't too fluent in English. How do you suggest I convince them to let me date her?
