I need sensible opinions. My ex ended it in June after 3 years. I was am heartbroken. I honestly thought that we would be together forever. I think i believed it more because hes 13 years older than me and thought that he wanted to settle with me. I have been dating but now think I may have a problem. I have had dates with over 20 guys and meet them online and sometimes go straight to their house without ever meeting them. Believe it or not i havent had intercourse with any of them but at least once a month to every two weeks I could wake up in a different guys bed. After just cuddling.I have only ever had one bad experience where he groped me in a restaurant and tried to force me back to his house and then sent be abusive messages once i escaped.All i want is that one person to spend my time with. But the ones i like seem not to be in to me. I see some pros to it...it allows you to expand your horizons and meet people you are not physically around all the time or never would have had the chance to meet. On the flip side, you are taking a risk and you will not have any mutual friends or social connections to each other. Is this still considered a 'pathetic' way to find a partner or dates, or is it more acceptable nowdays? I'm just not sure, I've thought about doing it before but it makes me nervous

Internet dating should we meet yet?
i started chatting to a guy online three months ago . We are practiacally insperable always texting and phoning each other . I know as does he that we are going to form a relationship when we meet which is unusual for me. Im not usually so excited about a guy or i should say i have been a little bit dubious about committeement and the whole area of marriage but this seems to have changed with him .i now can see tha it is possible and that i may meet someone i want to spend the rest of my life with . Anyway im rambling my question is how long do you think we should wait to meet ? i know it is an individual thing but from peoples experiences is it better to wait longer and have a deeper bond or to meet sooner and let that bond develop face to face? He would like to meet me soon i know that . im not afraid of the conversation running dry so waiting another month, two months or six months wouldnt cause a issue there but am i waiting for nothing ?should we just meet and enjoy each other comapany and forget about this intense bond that i want to have when we first meet . do you think people could actually find true love while internet dating?? What if the two people have known each other for more than 2 years or something and they know everything about each other trust each other. I've tried internet dating only once and I didn't like it that much, but a friend of mine says there's this guy she met online and she really loves him and they've been dating for more than 2 years and she says she's going to meet him one day. She said they also call each other and talk on the phone. Do you think that could actually be true love or is it just pointless and fake? no offence to anyone who internet dates but i'm just curious about this. I kinda think it's pointless if the two people can never meet in real life because they'd just be wasting time texting to each other forever That's why I prefer real life dating where you can actually be with someone face to facebut is it wrong to internet date? tell me your opinions pleaseguys please understand that she is young and the only reason it's been 2 3 years for them is because she wants to be sure she can completely trust this guy. she says the guy isn't really in a rush for them to meet or so it seems like he isn't. and she is too scared to try those sites where you just send a few e mails and then go meet the person straight out because of a past experience. It was on another site and she told me to go with her to meet that guy and when we met him, he was nothing like he said he was and she was devastated. so that's the only reason why it's been 2 3 years for the guy shes with now
