Oky so I have decided to go to my high school prom alone without a date, i think my school is full of lames and i dnt think anyone is good enough to go as my date. I think im gonna regret not going with a date i think i am going to be lonely. What should i do???

my one guy friend wants me to set up his best friend with a girl. let's call this guy steve. steve is a really nice guy. I've hung out with him before and he's fun to be around and you can just talk with him. he's a cool dude. but here's the problem. he's obese AND very picky about girls. when I say obese I mean actually the medical definition of obese. he's huge. and I think it will be hard to get a girl to look past that right away.he's also really picky about the girls he'll date. they have to fit in his specific " guidelines" as he calls them. he likes very thin, very girly, very pretty girls. one of his female friends actually liked him and asked him out and he said no. and this girl was cute but not stunning and a little tomboyish not girlie enough and actually pretty thin but not like size 0 super skinny . my guy friend really wants me to set steve up with someone. how do I do it?

How to find a date to Military Ball?
I can't go alone because I'm in charge of the whole thing and need a date for traditions and ceremonys. Plus my date ditched me at last years ball and I don't want to go alone again.I asked one guy and he said no because he already was planning on asking another girl which I already knew... , and he was the only one I could reasonably see myself going with. Two guys asked me but one of them moved away and the other one has a girlfreind now.I was going to ask one of my assistants but he found a date before I could decide to finally ask him and my other assistant is a girl. How to find a date when college is over for the summer?
I attend college in my hometown so when classes are over everybody else goes home and I get left behind. I hate not being able to mingle with the ladies and get a date. I have no one to be with this summer so I have go out on my own. Where can I go by myself to find a date? The only thing I can think of is going to bars, restaurants, malls, walking around town. I don't think I'll be able to go the the beach this summer so that option is out. Where can I go and what can I do by myself to get a hot date for the summer?

As you know me as single person, of course I do go out to different places to find a someone to meet people and maybe find a date. Of course first time and only once visit won't get you a date.
